Ooops I'm late posting... I forgot to activate the scheduling tool and my photo did not publish automatically. Anyway, I left Paris yesterday afternoon but I won't leave you without a daily shot of your favorite city of course ;-) To celebrate here is a typical view: sunset on the Alexandre III bridge. I will be more imaginative tomorrow, but for now I just need to sleep!

Absolutely gorgeous photo! Wish I was there!
ReplyDeleteA picture of daylight leaving the beautiful city. Or, in other words, a Paris Dayleave Photo.
ReplyDeletePas mal Jeff, pas mal !
DeleteBienvenue aux Etats-Unis, mon ami.
ReplyDeleteMerci Mrs Vandertramp. Actually right now it's a bit of a mess. Boston is under siege! I'm afraid to see a Tchetchen knocking at the door any minute!
Deleteoh what wonderful photo..that want me to be there ..right now..but I have to wait another 4 weeks until I am there..Yea...Have a wonderful time in Boston,Eric...Kara :-))
ReplyDeleteMerci Kara
DeleteParis is awesome, followed the entire picture of Paris through your blog. But this last picture is fabulous and marvelous. Waiting for your new snap. Good post.
ReplyDeletePortland Homes for Sale
love that lamp post!
ReplyDeleteBye bye Paris, maybe! But we haven't said bye bye Eric, sooo....... please be careful while staying at Boston !
ReplyDeleteAll I've been hearing relating to the still alive suspect, since 8 o'clock this morning, on the French news, is scary.
Hope this terrible situation won't turn bad again for any Boston inhabitant and tourist. ... Seems that all public transportation, schools, shops have to stay closed until further news.
A special thought to you over there ;)
Merci CN. Actually you're right I had to stay home today because they're still chasing the guy and people were asked to stay inside. I hope they'll catch him soon, as I don't intend to stay in for 4 days LOL!
DeleteIt seems you've been heard Eric :) ... And I'm glad you'll be able to freely enjoy your holidays now that the second suspect has apparently been arrested.
DeleteI'm relieved you are no more in danger !!! Have a nice 4 days staying at Boston (if so) and wherever you'll go to, ... have a lot of pleasure and fun !
Gorgeous gorgeous photograph. Hopefully Eric arrived safely in the USA, however, at this time (9:30am Friday morning) Boston and surrounding towns are in complete lockdown. Praying and hoping this nightmare ends quickly with no more deaths/injuries. Eric, your friend in Connecticut wishes you and your friends/family in Boston area well. Stay safe. Anne
ReplyDeleteJust woke up to that Anne! Actually I'm pretty far from Watertown where all the action is taking place, but it's a little scary! (Even though I know the media likes to spice up things...)
DeleteIt must feel a bit weird going on holiday and finding yourself in the very spot that the world's media is focused on.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and and have a good holiday.
Thanks for the Paris photo, it reminds me that I shall be in Paris this time next week, hopefully sitting in the sun sipping a cold beer. Well sipping a cold beer at least. ;-)
Shame I'll miss you (and your wives!) - I hope you'll have nice weather.
DeleteI admit it must feel really weird and I'm sorry about that. But despite of every terrible thing, we happen to know each day in the world's media, your gorgeous photo witnesses the beauty of a city like Paris, and so many others, where I wish we still could walk for hours in peace. Have a nice holiday and take care... Bonnes vacances.
ReplyDeleteMerci !
DeleteSuch a gorgeous shot.
ReplyDeleteSuch a peaceful picture (unlike where you are at the moment). Hope you're able to enjoy your time there.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! (I think this may be one of my favorites, definitely a contender for the calendar.) Enjoy your time away from Paris, if you can!
ReplyDeleteLovely scene!
