The back of...

Here you go, let start the week with a classic - well not so actually for generally you see the front and not the back... For yes, this is famous Opéra Garnier from the back (and from the rooftop of Les Galeries Lafayette of course) - Sorry if I'm not too informative with my captions lately, but I badly cut one of my fingers (not too serious though) and I have to take car of that asap. Will be back on track soon.

  2. What an amazing photo - it makes me long to go back ASAP! Sadly, I've never gotten to the rooftop of Les Galeries Lafayette ... but, I've learned my lesson (can you learn a lesson twice?) and will mind the time of year/hour during my next visit!

I hope your fingers heals quickly. Few things are as annoying as trying to type with a finger/hand injury.

  3. Oh I feel sorry for you Eric. You should go to the doctor or even better to the emergency so that finger be repaired quicker. How did you get that ? You should not play to dangerous games, should you? Well I'll be thinking of you with warm waves. Take care of you.

  5. I hope it wasn't your shutter-clicking finger, Eric. This photo is wonderful.

  6. My FB comments have not shown up for a couple weeks, so I'll try this. The back of the Opera is quite attractive architecturally, though there always are many vehicles parked back there. I'll have to remember to go to the roof of Les Galeries Lafayette next time. -Jeff

  8. Great photo, sometimes the rear of buildings are more interesting than the facades, not necessarily more beautiful, but more organic and useful
