And the best macarons are...

Believe it or not there is a macaron day in France, and it was yesterday (march 20!). I just found out about this very important "cause" (in fact it IS a real cause, because all the money collected goes to Cystic fibrosis) in an article in Le Figaro, in which they elected the 5 best macaron places in Paris. The winners are: Jean-Paul Hévin, Pierre Hermé, Sadaharu Aoki, Arnaud Larher, Dalloyau. I did not know most of these places...

  1. Yum! Pistachio? We did the same thing in NYC today. But by the time I made it to a macaron shop, they weren't giving out any freebies. Oh well. Here, the best macarons are at Ladurée and I wasn't there.

And no mention to the Ladurée's? Isn't it strange ?
I may not be 'snob' or trendy enough (that I am obviously not enough!) but I do like the Ladurée's...! Well and the Pierre Hermé's I admit they are good! :) I even don't know the others, except the last one on your list which I was not really a fan but it may be only me on a bad day !
And how not to mention the Maison du chocolat's that you offered once to one of your priviledged follower... Not me ... :( tss tss
I am not complaining at all... you spoilt me with delicious photos :)
