On Saturday I was quietly working at my computer when I heard loud music outside my door. I rushed downstairs wondering what it was and it turned out it was a wedding. The young couple had probably just left a church and was heading towards a reception hall, located in Le Passage Jouffroy. Only they had a big music band following them (and their guests!). Huge success ;-) and many smiles on people's faces around them, including me...
How wonderful to see the "wedding parade"! Best wishes to the newlyweds!
ReplyDeleteWedding Parade! that is what I should have used as a title!
DeleteAlso put a smile on my face !! Vive les mariés :-)) The photo is beautfiful : well focused on the happiness of the couple, but among people, in motion.
ReplyDeleteSuch an eye you've got (and so a ear too ! ;-)).
LOL - For the motion thing, I was lucky, that's all.
DeleteI love it - what a fun way to start a new life!

ReplyDeleteI came back from Nice last Thursday. I know it's hard to follow these days! But I'm staying in Paris for 20 days now, then I'll go to... San Jose in the US for 4 or 5 days.
DeleteNice shot, Eric. It's really difficult to get a good one when everyone is moving around so quickly and unexpectedly. But you did it !
ReplyDeleteI took a zillion photos I can tell you ;-)
DeleteLove it! She's acknowledging the crowd, but he has eyes only for her—sweet.
