Another day at the races!

There are several hippodromes around Paris. I already showed one of them a few weeks ago (the one of Longchamps, located on the Western part of Paris, here is the one of Vincennes, located on the Eastern side of Paris. It is mostly dedicated to the trot, a very elegant horse pace.

  1. The horse trailers are rather different from what we'd see here.

  2. Beautiful ! I love the line and the couple Man-Horse. It could look like the Deauville beach, if there were not the trucks on the front.
Or is it Lucky Luke who rides off alone into the sunset on Jolly Jumper, singing, "I'm a poor lonesome cowboy, and a long way from home..."....
Nope ... it is Vincennes... Proof a photographer can sublime any thing or place! Beautiful!

  3. Lovely peaceful shot. Makes me feel rather wistful after our double horse death at the Melbourne Cup this week.

  4. Great shot with the lone horse and jockey in the background!
