PDP Picnic day!
That's it! D-Day... It happens only once a year and... it's today (Wednesday May the 13th) . But pay attention, there is a change in the location. The weather is not good enough to take the chance to do it on the banks. Therefore, here is a nice surprise to all of you who have been following PDP and the little "family" that revolves around it. The 2009 PDP picnic will be taking place where Guillemette (better known as "Guille", here) works, that is at "The Cork and Cavan" on 70 quai de Jemmapes (10th arrondissement), by the Canal where I took this photo (see map here) - still @ 7 pm. Métro République or Jacques Bonsergent. Bring food but don't bring drinks, as they have to be ordered on the spot. See you tonight. See also Facebook.

Whee-hee!!! Tweet! Tweet! Tweet! (not going for GF).
ReplyDeleteI am officiallu really really envious. Sorry for the rainy weather, but so glad you're able to have it "chez Guille."
ReplyDeleteI'm heartbroken that I'll not be able to attend (or to visit friends in Manchester as planned.) But my watch-mom-while-you travel network has temporarily collapsed. Hope there'll be lots of pictures. Have fun, people!!
ReplyDeleteWell, if I can't be there at least I'm GF. Is this a consolation prize, peut-etre?
ReplyDelete. . . and make that "officially." Can't wait to hear all about it, see pix, etc. etc.!
What a brilliant solution for the PDP Picnic! If the weather is good, the banks of the canal will be a great place to hang out (as this photo shows), and if it starts to rain you can fight for a spot inside the bar. I hope Guille doesn't have to work! Guille you know what my shot of choice is, so have one on the bar for me just in case I show up!
ReplyDeleteYay Alexa GF!
ReplyDeleteSo it's D-Day. What a wonderful idea it is, this picnic. I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time. We need: pics, a good commentary (doesn't have to be running) and, if possible, tweets please! Oh yes, those of us who cannot attend need to feel in the picture!
I CAN'T WAIT!!
ReplyDeleteGood news, there is an internet access at the pub, you'll follow the "picnic" in live! :)
Katie, I'll have a baby guinness for you, be sure of that. Or maybe two.
Alexa, don't be envious, you're welcome "chez Guille" any time you want. :)
Oooh that's great news Guille. Live huh?
ReplyDeleteKatie it's you! I KNEW it! I guessed you ages ago... er..then I changed to Parisian Heart ok. Does that count? :)
Alexa, don't be envious, you're welcome "chez Guille" any time you want. :) Awww, that's sweet! And don't think we won't show up!
ReplyDeleteKatie? No, it can't be Katie. Katie's not a man. Er, are you, Katie? I mean after all, the SF-PDP picnic was a couple of years ago.
ReplyDeleteUjima, sorry to hear that!! :( I was looking forward to seeing your face on that picture next to the others. Maybe next year?
ReplyDeleteTomate, mais j'espère bien que tu va show up one day!! Ou alors ce sera moi qui te paierai une visite à SF...
ReplyDeleteIt can't be Katie, she was already here last October! And no, she's obviously not a man, but a gorgeous woman. And I've been told that one of my colleagues really liked her. Ooops, sorry, you didn't know? ;)
T'as vu, hein "courriel!" ;)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about Eric's blog: Eric's phone vibrates every time someone leaves a comment, soooooo ;)
"restriction budgétaire " t'en fais pas, on connait bien!!
ReplyDeleteY'avait un forum dans le temps, pour ceux qui veulent discuter, qu'est-ce que c'est devenu ce PDP forum?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, there is an old 2CV on Google Street View . Woot!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this view - I hope it's another night like that for you all tonight, whether inside or outside Guille's pub ... but without Eric lying on the ground, of course!
ReplyDeleteLynn, I hope it's not just our first pick that counts!
Say, didn't the 'man' hint come from Michael, not Phx? As irresistible as Michael is, I shall not allow myself to be led astray ... I will stay with ET Suzy!
Ohhh...Guille is hostessing - cool! I really wish I could have stretched our trip a few more days and been there with all of you. Have a delightful time! xoxo
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, this is a great photo...it is now my computer background. I really like it! ;-)
ReplyDeleteNow..about that picnic..Hope you all have a fantastic time!! Too bad that one cannot really plan with the weather..oh well! Hope that Guille doesn't have to work so that she can join in all of the fun and debauchery!!! LOL!! Now...Behave yourselves!! ;-)
Ujima -- "watch-mom-while-you-travel-network". LOOOOOL. : )
ReplyDeleteNow - who is the surprise mystery guest???!!! Can't wait for the pictures. I can picture myself there with you all, though. Have the PDP cavewomen arrived?
I hope you have the best time everyone!!
Well, if the picnic can't be outdoor than I bet there's no better option than Guille's pub!
ReplyDeleteBut don't go on ordering drinks to her, she's on her time off. Right Guille ;)
Tomate said:
ReplyDelete" Eric's phone vibrates every time someone leaves a comment, soooooo ;) "
I-can't-believe-it-the-man-has-no-peace-but-then-again-bet-he-likes-staying-tuned-to-us-24/7
I hope you all have a wonderful time. Guille, how wonderful for you to play hostess! Eric, please order a martini for me. Michael will drink it for me. LOL
ReplyDeleteSorry I can't be there...maybe next year...perhaps they'll send in the clowns...:-)
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting reading everyone's comments about the picnic in the bar! Your enthusiasm is contagious. I wish I were there! & I can not wait to hear all the details asap!
ReplyDeletebtw, lovely photo Eric!
Merci.
Have a wonderful time, everyone! And we'll be watching for photos...
ReplyDeleteMaybe next year?
ReplyDeleteI'll keep trying, Tomate!I missed the meeting in NYC because of a Phillies game and now I'm missing the picnic. But I WILL be in Paris again and will met the Great Mr. T and others.
Yeah, we would like to be there! Would somebody perhaps take a picture of a tomato to that "picnic" and sit it in front of a tall drink, maybe?! ;) OK, maybe this would be a little creepy. Never mind! Tweeter it is, then.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm bummed. Eric, You'll just have to put on a happy face and party a few weeks from now! Hope you all have fun.
ReplyDeleteV
The problem with showing up late to these comments is that it's impossible to say something to everyone!
ReplyDeleteYes a martini Mme Benaut (but we'll have to ask Guille if they know how to make a REAL martini first!)
Too bad Ujima. I was looking forward to finally meeting you.
Note to self: buy a tomato to photograph on the bar!
Shell Sherree - you're wrong!
Note to self: ask Guille if they know how to make caipirinha "the national cocktail of Brazil"
Tonton_flaneur - "debauchery" is my middle name! ;-)
And, oh yeah, great photo Eric!
USelaine "Whee-hee!!! Tweet! Tweet! Tweet! (not going for GF)."
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!
Internet in the café?! It looks like I'll be the only one drinking!
Have never been on Tweeter but will try it out today (malgré the mountain of work—screw them, I say) and will try to be there, however virtually!
ReplyDeleteGuille—say it's your journée libre, s'il te plait, ma reine—but hope you have a fabulous time either way. (et si tu passes par NYC en juillet, il faut absolument qu'on se rencontre—ca va sans dire!
Mme Benaut -- Michael will have enough to drink! Couldn't I have that martini please? ;~}
Ujima (et Tomate) -- next year? I'll be there if you will!
Guille I'm so impressed you remembered my drink! Granted, I did have quite a few of those in October. Be sure to say hi to J for me!
ReplyDeleteLynn sorry to get your hopes up that you were right. Tant pis!
Tomate you're correct that I haven't changed gender since the SF PDP gathering a few years ago. But hey, in SF you never know! I guess I missed hearing that the mystery American blogger guest was a man.
Michael don't let Eric spend the whole picnic tweeting!
Michael - nice try!
ReplyDeleteET Suzy!
ET Suzy!
ET Suzy!
And here I was hoping I would be missed or at the very least my caipirinhas!
ReplyDeleteMarie give Corinne and Arnauld a kiss from me... :( and if Anissa turns up tell her I said hello...
Shell, I feel honored. Mostly because you don't think I'm a man! HA!
ReplyDeleteThis soiree keeps on getting better! And now it's "live?" Color me impressed. Anyone have a webcam they can set up?
Tomate, you've let the cat out of the bag. Now each time I post a comment, I'll imagine Eric's phone is in his front trouser pocket... "Hi", "Just saying a friendly hello", "Me again", "Tweet, tweet, tweet" etc. ...
ReplyDeleteEric I'm sorry I won't be joining you tonight but I'll be thinking of you and do hope to be able to attend one day. Better planning next year?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! (and love to Guille)
BTW, thanks for (belatedly) posting your photos of the Sydney gathering. That looked like fun. You had a very feminine company by the looks of it. No male bloggers in Sydney? LOL
ReplyDeleteMichael, you're right, "The problem with showing up late to these comments is that it's impossible to say something to everyone!"
ReplyDeleteNever mind, we'll say more tonight ;-)
And don't worry, you won't be the only one drinking. I'll be with you...
Hahahaha!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Elaine, you never know. Technology can bring small pleasures as well ;)
Michael: just print one out and stick it in your pocket until D-day!
Me at the picnic ------>
ReplyDelete(hello everybody)
Err - shouldn't you be on your plane by now, ET Suzy?????
ReplyDeleteOooh. This is one of my favorite PDP photos.
ReplyDeleteMan, I wish I were on my way to that party ...
{"... maybe ET Suzy is already there?" she ponders to herself hopefully.}
ReplyDeleteBe careful tonight if you want to use the metro: don't use line 3 as it's on works and doesn't stop at "Republique". The other lines (5, 8, 9 and 11) are OK !
ReplyDeleteHa! These lovely ladies should not worry, it's not because I thought they were men; I think the 'man' thing is a red herring!
ReplyDeleteI am still going with Katie (I thought you WERE coming to Paris again this year?) and Parisian Heart. I can have two can't I? Good.
I did wonder about Suzy but I think she wouldn't be able to contain her excitement if it was her. She'd give herself away with everything in thrice with lots of exclamation marks ;)
Love the power of this shot and all that goes with. Had to say it.
ReplyDeleteBelated : Sure!! You cannot even imagine when they happen to have met their double (well, let's say double_3rd power)...
I am sending this from a French laptop, the keyboard takes a little getting use to but it is fun. I went to a medieval village yesterday. The church was built around year 1000. The village is in Provins, France. During the time of Joan of Arc, she rescued and brought the King of France there and they had Mass together before going to another location. I made a digital film while I was there.
ReplyDeleteThis is a party photo as was the one of yesterday. Really puts everyone in the mood. Merci for the update Guille. Tonight we are going to the PDP picnic that Eric is throwing in person OR virtually. Katie, remember our virtual SF PDP picnic of last year?
Note to self (as Michael would say), Eeeek, I almost forgot to BRING FOOD! Mouffetard is a few blocks from me, so I will be heading over there later on this afternoon. Does anyone have any special requests?
Yes Lois. Pls tell us who the mystery guest is. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not working tonight, of course not! But I'll be glad to go behind the bar to serve my friends and make them nice cocktails... :)
ReplyDeleteThib is right, don't take line 3!
So, a baby Guinness for Katie, a martini for Alexa and Mme Benaut, a pint of Guinness for Coltrane, a Caipi for Rose and Monica... What else? Last order!
See you tonight!
Lois: make sure you guys takes lots of pictures to show us later.
ReplyDeleteMichael: see, if Rose or I were at the picnic/pub we could provide the caipirinhas!!!! Hope Guille knows how to do it by now, after all, I think she's a speciallist in drinking it!
;)
Guille, what else?
ReplyDeleteHave fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok here's my virtual order, Guille. Someone can please drink for me a wonderful fruit cocktail! No alcohol please, or very little ;)
ReplyDeleteC pas drôle de couper les têtes comme ça... :(
ReplyDeleteMonica, Note to self, bring camera, merci!
ReplyDeleteI am about to leave for the party and I see that the guessing is still alive.
ReplyDeleteI will have to give the hysterical last hint(developed by mystery guest) after you have found out as \i want it shared with you all.
Already leaving PHX?
ReplyDeleteSoooooo....this hint?!
Dear Picnic-In-The-Pub People,
ReplyDeleteHave a great time, try not to fall into the canal!
BTW Guille, now I know why you spend so much time in the pub!
The rain is really coming down, thunder even, wow!
ReplyDeleteOK. I'm leaving the office.
ReplyDeleteShould be there in an hour.
Unfortunately, I'll have to use the metro! It's much too rainy for a Velib' ;-((
Too bad about the rain, but I know you guys will have fun anyway.
ReplyDeleteSo who are we following on Twitter? Or will there be live comments posted on PDP?
That's the Great Flood in Paris.
ReplyDeleteStormy weather, it seems to me!
Have a great time, you all and let us be informed, please. Don't be that cruel...
Sorry to say that I'm sitting at my desk at work, jealous as all get-out that I'm not in Paris for the picnic. Even Paris in the rain is better than being at work! So I've put on my CD of French songs, and will do my best to forget about not being there.
ReplyDeleteJe ne veux pas travailler
Je ne veux pas déjeuner
Je veux seulement oublier
Et puis je fume
Ok, so I'm not really smoking, just steamed that I'm not in Paris. And yes Lois, I'll expect a big slide show of photos when you get back to SF. Maybe we can have a Post-PDP-Picnic Party.
Here's to a fabulous PDP Picnic!
Pink Martini.
ReplyDeleteIsn't one of the song on the album, or the album even, called "hang on little tomato" ?
Soooooo....sha?
ReplyDeleteHeads-up! Twitter is scheduled to shut down for maintenance at noon Pacific time/ 9 pm Paris time! Hope it doesn't last too long! Remember to start Tweeting early!
ReplyDeleteFor those who are not in France, I just came back from Paris and no rain above the City yet but sun and huge black clouds at the same time.
ReplyDeleteFor the ones attending the picnic, have lots of fun, spend a great evening, you certainly are a wonderful group of persons, who seem to get along so well together.
Refresh
ReplyDeleteOh yes USelaine! I forgot that. The nerve! Doesn't Twitter KNOW it's the PDP picnic-in-the-pub (like that, Drummond)?
ReplyDeleteCome on Phx, the last clue's no good once we all know - it wouldn't be a clue then, it'll just be information! Give us one more.
Thib what's a velib?
I can exclusively reveal to non-Twitters that...Eric is now... AT HOME GETTING READY!
Have reminded him to take camera, to take his mobile phone, goodness if I could reach from the UK I'm sure I'd be straightening his tie.
ReplyDeleteLynn
ReplyDeleteI will call you later tonight for us to cry together..lol!
LOL what a great idea Rose. I do love a girly cry he he... I might not stop though :(
ReplyDeleteYou and I must try to go there at some other point. Really.
I have no further Tweet exclusives. We have to imagine instead. Um let's see..Eric has mwah'd about 15 times so far...and he's said "Enchante.." or "So pleased you could come.." and Guille is handing out drinks like there's no tomorrow....... :D
Have fun! Sadly, stuck here in Canada, although we were in this very spot 2 weeks ago. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteSoooo, what´s the news from the picnic/pub?
ReplyDeleteGuille did say there´s internet access there..... so give us a sign of smoke!!!!
Monica: LOL! They have forgotten about us!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking the same thing, Monica. Smoke: maybe the cavewomen are roasting a leg of mastodon and no one can see their own keyboard through the haze from the campfire.
ReplyDeleteTall Gary, I thought you were the mystery guest?!!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was Alexa.
ReplyDeleteAt least the roaring one on the left was hot enough to start fires. As hot as primeval lava.
ReplyDeleteI'm so late. TG, I was sure you were the surprise guest because you're late too.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful picture, Eric! Now that I know your phone buzzes every time a comment comes in, I'll be sure to comment more often.
Have a wonderful time everyone. I'll be waiting for updates.
And Guille, I'll just have what everyone else is having.
Fabulous !!!!! TG!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be with you all !!!!!!!!! Petrea same for me!!
How nice that PDP stuff and who is the king of all of that? Who tell me ? Who? ;)
Hip hip hip for PDP ???? Houuuurrrraaaaa!
If it isn't TG, or Coltrane, then I give up.
ReplyDeleteHow do we know TG isn't commenting from there????
ReplyDeleteOkay, Fifi! Enough already: reveal the mystery guest!!!! Pretty please with sugar on top?
Alas, it is not I Tomate, but I'll have a few of those "mini Guinni's" that are likely flowing at the Irish pub. Okay, for now I'll wish you PDPers a superb eve and drown my sorrows in my Heiniken...and bask in the sunshine that we do have (finally) here in the Midwest. Sante! Look forward to hearing and seeing all the action. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYep we are all forgotten so far :( Those in charge have gone out on the town, left us kiddies behind to misbehave - and they've forgotten to check on us!!!! So - what shall we get up to? ;)
ReplyDeleteOooh that's a point. Any one of us could be posting from there! Ha. This is the point of paranoia. We are now looking around the room at each other with a very cautious eye... dun dun dur.
ReplyDeleteKeep commenting - maybe the vibrating will be too much and Eric or someone will respond. ;)
ReplyDeleteNary a tweet. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteGuys
ReplyDeleteI am so disgusted... Michael is not answering his phone...
Can you believe it?
Michael answer the bloody phone!
I want to join in!!!! lol
I was just gonna say .. .would someone please post the Tweet feed up here, so the rest of us can follow? :) Pretty puleeeeeez? Besides, we haven't broken the 100 comments in a while on this blog ! :D
ReplyDeleteNope nothing so far huh Elaine but I just tweeted Eric to say : So we've heard nothing so far & we're all getting twitchy, wondering who's posting comments but is actually THERE with you! Salut!
ReplyDeleteTomate. Is it really you? That pic of you at the picnic is very convincing, I have to say.
ReplyDeleteI have an idea. Since we're all there "in spirit" we should all grab a drink right now. On the count of 3, everybody ...
ReplyDeleteI'll go first. I believe I'll have ... diet Lipton tea in a can! Oh my!! They really ought to fill the vending machine with better stuff (rolling eyes).
There is a picture of ME?!!
ReplyDeleteRose. Maybe they're not answering the phone because any minute now...your doorbell or mine will RING! Hahaha imagine that. Yeah but really, where are they? :( I'm going to start rearranging Eric's furniture if they don't say something soon.
ReplyDeleteEric: your fans are awaiting you!
ReplyDeleteSomebody skypes him!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a cool laidback establishment from the Google Map. Lot of shops around it (JT Exports, Optical...) with a cool view across the quai. Big Guinness sign by entryway, large window with "The Cork And Cavan" in Old English Script, some tables and chairs out front on the sidewalk.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll check in later...I've some planting to do this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteTomate...I'm drinking with you...LOL...egads!!! not tea. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe C&C is not very big, and my guess is that the place is jammed beyond capacity, no one can hear their phone ring, and everyone is probably so buzzed that even a phone set on "stun gun" wouldn't register! I fear we won't be hearing from anyone for a while.
ReplyDeleteShould we take bets on who the first person who was at the party to check in here? I'll guess Thib, who has a Blackberry.
Coltrane, did you spot the old 2CV (quintessential French car) on the Google Street View pic?
ReplyDeleteBoycott! When they do check in we will just pretend not to notice. How dare they leave us on pins and needles!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think Thib will comment first also.
Let the bets commence...
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Guille would be first.
Tomate...oui, now that you mention it. I also saw a young lady pedaling her bicycle that looked like it could have been Guille (to the west of the estab.) Cheers!
ReplyDeleteOh, I misunderstood, I thought you meant first to arrive at the party!
ReplyDeleteWhere are all the Tweeters?
My money is on Thib! He's been the first on other occasions...he also may be the designated driver. LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope nobody drove there. Driving in Paris s-cks and parking is unheard of (well, unless you have a velib or a scooter or something ;)
ReplyDeleteGood idea Cali
ReplyDeleteLet's boycott Eric, his blog, Twitter... every one at the picnic! lol
Ahem. I have an EXCLUSIVE ! he he.... I just had a call from Michael et Guille. You were right, it was very noisy there! That's why I think they didn't answer. They are all having a GREAT time! I have two marvellous pieces of news for you.
ReplyDelete1. Bettina is fine! She is there! I don't know any details but she is there.
2. I KNOW who the mystery guest is!! LOL. Shall I tell you? I have permission to reveal....:)
TELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTHEY HAVE JUST CALLED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLynn
ReplyDeletePlease don't you start teasing too!!!
Monica... rub in... rub in lol
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like they are having the time of their lives and can’t tear themselves away for even a second. I mean, they have been there for 4 hours now.
ReplyDeleteIt’s just a guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the May 14 PDP is posted around 6:00 P.M. Paris time.
I just spoke to Michael and Guille and Eric and Jeff!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI´m thrilled!
Lynn is right, there was a lot of noise we can see they´re having a great time. The weather ´s bad, but the caipirinhas.... well they stoped counting how many they´ve had after the 10th glass
Lynn, you must tell!
ReplyDeleteIt’s just a guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the May 14 PDP is posted around 6:00 P.M. Paris time.Hahahaha!!
ReplyDeleteMerci Monica for the update. Sounds like nobody should be driving ... or pedaling the Velibs. ;-)
ReplyDelete!!!It's..........ET SUZY !!!
ReplyDeleteSalut!!
ReplyDeleteJust spoke to them!
ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful that she made it... how perfect!
ReplyDeleteShell Sheree, you did it! ET Suzy!
ReplyDeleteEIFFEL TOWER!
EIFFEL TOWER!
EIFFEL TOWER!
Suzy is da man!
ReplyDeleteYay! Rose wasn't it exciting? Monica too? I loved it. Suzy has made a flying visit, just a couple of days, especially for the picnic! Fantastic huh? I heard her lovely voice but we both giggled so much and squealed, we didn't say very much LOL....
ReplyDeleteYay -- good for Suzy!!
ReplyDeleteThe honor couldn't go to a better man.
ReplyDeleteShe's a better man than I am.
May the best man--oh, never mind. I'm so happy for her I could just...cry in my near beer.
ET
ReplyDeleteET
ET
how fantastic!!!!!!!!!
Phx fooled us saying it was a man....!
We must all go next year, okay? Suzy too. Let's start saving our pennies right now!
ReplyDeleteThree years ago to the day I was in Paris. AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very exciting to hear from them. Although they were all talking at the same time and screaming and laughing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery funny!
You guys I loved to talk briefly with you all! Thanks!!! Wish I was there (
Jeff next time I´m sure our schedule will be in sync´; Guille and Eric and Mike and Phx I will see you in 3 weeks!!!)
And Rose and From Cali too, I will see you SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlthough they were all talking at the same time and screaming and laughing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlcohol most definitely involved! ;)
What a ride I have had today reading all your comments. Thought I would leave a comment and give Eric a buzz!!!
ReplyDeletehe he no no Michael told me that my drink went first! A lot of it. That was - fruit juice!! lol how funny. I think they're having a marvellous time.
ReplyDeleteOk so now I think we shouldn't misbehave in the comments box. Put all Eric's furniture back, straighten the pictures, vacuum the carpets... LOL. I can't wait to see the pics though. Isn't it fab that Bettina is well? :)
Hey Gramma Ann! Good to see you here. What's your virtual choice of drink?
ReplyDeleteThey are having so much fun... isn't it wonderful how close we are to each other and some of us have never met?
ReplyDeleteYeah Monica... I will make everyone jealous when you come to stay in my house for 4 days! hehehe
It will be wonderful meeting Cali as well ;) plus going to see Lynn...
Michael, Eric and gang: are you jealous now? ;)lol
I knew Bettina was going to be there. I am so disappointed that I can't share this moment with her :(
ReplyDeleteGod, I must stop complaning... I sound so jealous and envious (I am not I am not I am not!!!) lol
Ok so now I think we shouldn't misbehave in the comments box. On the contrary, I think it's now or never ;)
ReplyDeleteSo we passed 100 comments. Can we go for 200?!! Do I hear 200?!!
Buzz!!
BTW, I didn't know ET Suzie is a man. Tsk, tsk, tsk.. misleading avatar!
ReplyDeletegood idea Tomate
ReplyDeleteLet's make them read all our bs :) lol
Yeah, me neither! I was so shocked...lol
ReplyDeleteAnd did you hear the news about Michael? I couldn't believe it?
ReplyDeletehe he it IS amazing we seem so close yes Rose, it's a wonderful thing the PDP family.
ReplyDeletePhew I need a drink. One orange & cranberry coming up. Oh yes I know how to party LOL
LOL Tomate
ReplyDelete200?! Easy.
What news?
ReplyDeleteMeeting me is hardly BS Ms. Rose! LOL.
ReplyDeleteMonica: now we can move on to our get together! Is that where I will meet Rose???
Okay, Tomate, let's go for 200.
Next!
Suzy's not a man, PHX threw in a red herring clue.
ReplyDeleteNo, what's the news about Michael?
Rose, I remember how you made me cry last year when you said my name on the banks of the Seine. I can't wait to see this year's video!
Oh, I don't know... we're running against a deadline here, it's almost time for a new post!
ReplyDeletebuzz.
Rose what about Michael? What´s up?
ReplyDeleteI don´t know, all I know is that he said we were all winning down here in the comment box for not having heard from them yet!!!!!
:)
Suzie is a herring? a fish?
ReplyDeletebuzz
If so, she's a mermaid.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Bettina's there. Relieved!
Oh, we're not whinning at all, Monica. I am having my second Lipton Tea in a can and I'm feeling the .....
ReplyDelete...

BUZZ!!
:D
ReplyDeleteLaughing out loud, Tomate. Eric's probably had to turn off his
ReplyDeleteBUZZ!
Rose and Lynn I agree, it´s a wonderful web we have here. This PDP thing continues to amaze...
ReplyDeleteRose, what is Michael's news?
ReplyDelete160, do I hear 161!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we probably wore out his battery by now! ;)
So what's the news about Michael?!!
I'll have what Tomate's having. I haven't had a BUZZ in a long time.
ReplyDeleteYeah Monica, Eric sure came up with a winner.
LOL Tomate !!!!!
ReplyDeleteFrom Cali it´s actually what? less than 3 weeks now for our get togehter right?! ;)
Phx I didn´t here from you!!!!!!!!! Can´t believe it I so wanna talk to you!
How did the quizz go?
Oh yeah Petrea me too, can´t wait to see if this year there´ll be a video too. Rose also made tears come to my eyes last year.... and then I had the privilege of meeting her here in Rio! Like I said, PDP is amazing....
Cali.. you know what I meant! lol
ReplyDeleteMichael? What news? ROSE? He didn't tell me any news...did he?... no I don't think so... tell, do! :)
ReplyDeleteUK Lynn I didn´t forget: we´re supposed to meet in OXFORD!!! Did you save the date yet?!!
ReplyDelete(don´t mind my spelling errors, I shouldn´t be here in the comment box... I should be working so I´m typing and watching out my back at the same time!)
Rose what´s the news???????
ReplyDeleteWhat is it? Oh no, another mystery? I can't take it...:0
ReplyDeleteYou kknow that next year PDP will be streaming live and we'll be looking at it R/T, none of that Tweeter cr..p, no offense, the REAL THING!! Yeeeeeeeeehaaaa!
ReplyDeleteBUZZ
We can write 200, 300 comments. They are NOT going to ready all this. They might be drunk but I bet they still have their good sense intact.
ReplyDeleteSomething that we appear to have lost 100 comments ago.
;)
Soooooooooo, what about Michael?!
ReplyDeleteCome on...
you can tell us ...
We won't say a word to anyone ...
It's a secret...
Well?
Do they have any tequila at the Cork and Caven? Sure’n it ain’t exactly Irish but IT’S TIME FOR THE TEQUILA!
ReplyDeleteLynn: Do they have Pepsi in Paris. That's my drink of choice, maybe with a little rum added.
ReplyDeleteLynn I can´t take it either. C´mon Rose, don´t go to sleep and leaves us here guessing!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe all have the BUZZ so we won´t be able to go to sleep in hours!

She's not going to tell us. Damn.
ReplyDeleteI have to go out. We're at about 175 comments. By the time I get back this will all have gone swirling way out of control.
But I'm nuts. I'll read it. Bisous for all!
Yes, Monica, can't wait! Yay!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if we'll get pictures tonight. I do hope Eric won't be too tired to post some. I want to see everyone! Shall we demand that we keep him up late to show us one or two? :) My, how naughty I feel here in the comments box while Eric is out! he he.......

ReplyDeleteGramma Ann: Pepsi is my drink of choice also. Good luck finding it though - just like in the States Coke seems to have taken over, but I did find a nice little place to pop in for my Pepsi fix . . .
ReplyDeleteIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
ReplyDeleteActually I might go AWOL for a while at some point - I have to go out - take son's girl home - but I'll be BACK!
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm here let's go to 200! It's only 5 o'clock here where I am. That's in the evening.
ReplyDelete"Something that we appear to have lost 100 comments ago." LOL, Monica. Wow, you are right, 3 weeks before our meeting, but I leave for Paris exactly one week from today!
ReplyDeleteRose love U 2!!!
ReplyDeleteMichael wonderful? no, no, he´s more than that,
he is extraordinary!!!
OK, Gramma Ann. Let's!
ReplyDeleteChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
From Cali I know everything about your trip by now, except: is your baggage ready? Carry on or no carry on... that is the question!
ReplyDeleteAlways remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
ReplyDeleteSkydiving! That’s it! Could there be a better way for ET Suzy to celebrate? Where is that 24-hour parachute rental? Don’t they do that at the Jules Verne restaurant?
ReplyDeleteI still don't know! I hope no carry on!!!
ReplyDeleteAlzheimer's advantage: New friends every day.
ReplyDeleteFor sale: parachute. Only used once, never opened, small stain.
ReplyDeleteMichael is the greatest. Anytime I don't know how to do something, There is Michael showing me how, to either get in or out of trouble!
ReplyDeleteClairvoyants meeting canceled due to unforeseen events.
ReplyDeleteTomate: we are so close to 200, keep 'em coming
