Look what I found at 5 Rue Henri Monnier, near Place Saint George... Isn't that cool? I found it in a store called Célia Darling (Célia is the name of the owner apparently) that sells "vintage" clothes (you know how successful they are in Paris at the moment...) Well, Célia had the clever idea of putting these animal masks on the head of her mannequins and it really catches the eyes when you walk by.
Is that the Golden Fleece Jason was looking for? Alors! Eric has found it!
ReplyDeleteYou always find the most interesting things to photograph :)
ReplyDeleteCélia, j'adore!
ReplyDeletev
that's very clever!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, it looks like mutton dressed as lamb!
ReplyDeleteSuits ewe sir!
ReplyDeleteCelia is a clever girl indeed! So glad to hear that vintage is in. Thank goodness—my thrift shop wardrobe will be just the thing to wear in Paris. :~}
ReplyDeleteBefore i read the caption, i thought it was a picture taken in a theater during a performance: the mask, the light, the background...
ReplyDeleteInteresante! I had to laugh at Anon's post about the mutton dressed as a lamb, very funny. Imaginative, creative, yet somehow slightly disturbing. I don't know if it would make me want to shop there or avoid it altogether. Knowing me, probably shop there!
ReplyDeletethis is a great idea. very inventive & makes for a neat photo op too!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering what it looks like in large ;)
ReplyDeleteIt seems like Dolly got dressed ;)
