Spring!


I think "they" (whoever is in charge of the weather!) must be on drugs this year... December was as cold as January, January was cold like it is generally in February and February is so far "warm" like March! I took this photo yesterday (Friday) at a terrace at Café M at rue de Maubeuge where I felt the urge to have lunch in the sun! I even had to take off my sweater! I know it won't probably last, but God did it feel good! The Chinese must be right after all: it's definitely spring!

    Oh how nice Eric. And here I was hoping it would be freezing cold so I could bask in the Singaporian sun and your envy. But alas, no. Enjoy and keep it going would you?!

    As for the Chinese and their Spring festival which is really in Winter, I think it's all part of a plot to once again be ahead of the rest of the world. I'm sure Drummond will agree...

    But we are waiting minus 20 here in the coming days. It's coming from Finland... So maybe much colder weather will reach Paris soon too.

    We may be getting a bit more snow tomorrow (oof!), so I'm grateful for a bit of vicarious Paris sunshine and lunch at a café in the 9eme. Thanks, Eric! (And I loved all the great reflections in yesterday's pic.)

    Gorgeous warm sunshine and people watching with some cool, bubbly San Pellegrino water....what more could you wish for? Maybe a nice salad and omelette? Parfait! =)

    Oooh, that looks lovely. I'm SO ready for spring. It has been cold for months, and probably will continue to be so for several more weeks, so sun and sitting outside will have to wait. Glad you enjoyed it for me!
