Michael Jackson is dead, but he was in Paris last Sunday... Miracle? Not really, it was just one of his many lookalike that I photographed near Beaubourg, in front of the Saint Merri church. Nothing extraordinary - there are probably thousands of those throughout the world - but I like the framing of this photo.

Good timing. Michael's former personal physician goes on trial tomorrow in Los Angeles to see whether he is guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

My favorite performance was Michael doing Billie Jean! There has never been anyone who could dance like him except for John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever!

You captured the moment perfectly between the young admirers. And it looks like all the machines in the fountain are working! When does that ever happen? Good framing, indeed.

Sadly, many of those kids watching probably haven't a clue who Michael Jackson was. On second thoughts, perhaps it's just as well.

This must be a lookalike from his later years. Looks like he has quite a crowd and is interesting enough to catch and keep their attention! Bravo to him.

Like V said, perfectly framed! My fave fake MJ can sometimes be found in the Times Square subway station. He's really good and he's a little person (un nain).

How many people - over the centuries St. Merry has been there - must have stopped in this exact spot to enjoy goodness knows how many performers entertaining in front of this very backdrop!
