I'm always impressed when I see these group weddings that take place (well they don't actually take place in Paris, but their photo shoot does) in Paris. Are there wedding tours in China? What do the newly weds tell their family when they return home? Anyway it allowed me to take a funny photo, so I'll quit wondering!
The brides particularly stand out in those surroundings. Good shot!
ReplyDeleteThat's so interesting. Flying to Paris for a photo shoot. With your wedding dress. After your wedding. :) Honestly, that's a great idea! Why don't more people do that?
ReplyDeleteNo, the wedding dress is provided by the tour, they'll wear something else the day they wed. The bride typically has 4 sets of clothes to wear during the wedding banquet too. Quite a drama, eh?
ReplyDeleteMerci, that is very interesting.
DeleteI love culture! I didn't do this for my wedding, but why not? I love it.
ReplyDeleteI see a lot of these photo shoots on the Champ de Mars, but it seems to me most of them are from Japan. It's really quite charming to watch.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting! I'm glad that the weather was fine for their beautiful photos!

ReplyDeleteWas this picture taken on Friday May 30th?
There was another group also at Place Vendôme that afternoon.
There you were in the right place at the right time—again! You see a lot of Asian brides in Florence too. I'd pick Paris myself—but I wouldn't do it in a group (not my idea of romantic).
ReplyDeleteI noticed this outside Notre Dame when I was there.
ReplyDeleteChinese person here, though I grew up in Australia. It is a great idea ... holiday and photo shoot all rolled into one. Wish I had done it - but we had a photo shoot in Hong Kong at one of the beaches. Photos on the day just don't work in Hong Kong as the traditional white wedding/church/reception thing just doesn't happen - and a bunch of wedding photos in a restaurant or hotel ballroom just isn't the same. I enjoyed it even though they did shave my eyebrows.
ReplyDeleteInsane3am, you have sent me on an interesting internet search. I'm sorry you had to shave your eyebrows. Hope they've grown back to your satisfaction.
