I think I already posted a similar photo of the Eiffel Tower a long time ago with the exact same title, but what can I say, I find this ridiculously beautiful even though it's just a bunch of iron beams and a few rays of sun!
Imagine all the folks, locals and tourists alike who did not "see" this! They are lesser for not putting the effort into viewing the tower from all angles and in all weather conditions. We are so lucky to have Eric discovering different views of Paris. Just when you think you are tired of seeing another photo of the old lady Eric surprises us a unique interpretation of his city. Such a reward and encouragement to all of us to put some extra effort each time we come across something to view. I also agree with all the preceding comments two times over.
Even a different sky can make the shot from the same spot different than another one. As it is, the pattern of the steel against that sky is amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt makes my heart sing. What a beautiful shot with the sun's rays split by the iron detail. Love it!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
What a splendid and striking photo!
ReplyDelete"Ridiculously beautiful" is right, Eric. I love it.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed "ridiculously beautiful"! Such a great pic, love the light and the angle, really does look like lace. Great eye Eric :)

ReplyDeleteYes, just a bunch of iron beams and a few rays of sun. But seen through your magic lens—something very very special! I really love this image.
