I took advantage of my being at the Pantheon, to visit teh Saint Etienne du Mont church, a church that is located right behind Le Pantheon and that I had never visited before. On the way out, there was this couple kissing like crazy and I thought it would make a great photo if I was quick enough. I did not grab the exact moment that I wanted to grab, but it's not that bad ;-) Have a love-ly Saturday everyone.
Nice capture even if slightly past the moment! It's a terrific setting.
ReplyDeleteI love this shot and I think your timing was excellent (especially as they are the only people in the frame). I used to live just down the street from this church—now famous because the staircase on the left is the spot from which Owen Wilson time-traveled in Midnight in Paris. But isn't the interior beautiful?
ReplyDeleteAh l'amour (sorry, it had to be said)

Bonne fête de la musique Eric on this Solstice day.
ReplyDeleteA magnificent building. They are one after the other in Paris, more and more.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Eric, you've captured the beautiful textures of all that stone, above and below! If any of your readers are musicians, they may take extra delight in your picture: Maurice Duruflé was top organist at Saint-Etienne from '29 til his death in '86. His apartment had a view of the Pantheon.
