This sign is familiar to all French people. You find it on all places where electricity may become a danger. Here it's near the
Gare du nord (Northern Station) where people could jump over the fence and get electrocuted. In fact this sign is probably here for legal reasons; so that in case of an accident the railway company can claim "well, we warned you..."
Oh yes, that's a very familiar sign!
ReplyDeleteI like it when there is a skull and crossbones on such signs. It's spooky as hell!
ReplyDeleteAnother "SNCF" sign that I like a lot is (or was -- I have not seen any for a long time) :
ReplyDelete"Attention en traversant la voie : un train peut en cacher un autre" (Caution when crossing the track: a train can hide another one).
François, Lille, France
All I can say is "shocking"!
