I came across this truck delivering mannequins on the boulevard des Capucines (2nd arrondissement). I jumped off my motorbike, grabbed my camera and started shooting! The delivery guy was really amazed but I ended up talking to him and he was very friendly. The funny part is that I already photographed this exact same scene two days ago but due to a bad setting of my camera (remember it's not my usual one) I couldn't use the photos. Have a nice week-end everyone.

ReplyDeleteRather creepy! I'm always interested in the pictures you can make with mannequins. I found an amusing shop window display in Lille a month ago.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with The Bold Soul. My first reaction when I saw this photo was "orgy of body parts." I also loved the photo of the delivery man, and very much liked that action-packed narrative surrounding the taking of this picture: "I jumped off my motorbike, grabbed my camera and started shooting!"

ReplyDeleteIt's so funny! What exactly is going on with those mannequins on the left...especially the upside down one?! I tried something like that once - takes a lot of stretching to warm up beforehand! :)

ReplyDeleteEric, it's so good you got a second chance at this shot! Don't you just hate when a photo doesn't turn out. So disappointing. Nice to get do-over opportunities. I wonder what sort of "the fish that got away" stories photo bloggers could tell? :-) I think these guys could find some colored feet to help complete themselves if they looked back in your archives. . .
