If only I had a brain...
I had dinner at "Fish", a very good restaurant at 69 rue de Seine in the 6th last evening and when I went out of the restaurant I came across this stunning brain "sculpture" in the window of the Galerie Bailly Contemporain. Very beautiful and very impressive. I simply love it. It is called 13000 volts, and I understand , Cédric Ragot made it. I wish I had a creative brain like his!

Love it! =)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. I ate at "Poissonerie" on my first night in Paris this year. I very much enjoyed it. You had the brain to have a good dinner, so don't feel bad, Scarecrow!
ReplyDeleteDon't fool yourself, Eric. Your brain is extremely creative. And we thank you for it.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to see the wizard, uh, link to see what other brain sculptures this guy has created. When was the last time someone said "my, what big brains you have?" ;-)
Hey, just because your brain doesn't light up, doesn't mean it's not just as "bright" as M. Ragot's! Must say, though, as lamps go, this one is waaaay cool!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I need one of these at work....
ReplyDeleteIt is a amazing smart brain
ReplyDeleteelectrifying!
ReplyDeleteThat's wild. I like it! Fish is good food for the brain.

I wonder if our brains actually shine like this when we have a good idea? I'm sure yours did, Eric, when you took this picture! Brilliant! (lol)
ReplyDeleteMy mother used to say that FISH was "brain food" so it all comes together. I have been to FISH several times and I love the restaurant. Have had a few lovely dinners there, and if I remember correctly the stairs to the restroom are something out of a book!!
ReplyDeleteEric...thank you for being the brain behind PDP...over two years since my first visit (both Paris and PDP) and I hope the oxygen never stops:)
ReplyDeleteWell something must be wrong with Eric's brain because he simply forgot to say that he was in the wonderful company of PHX (Lynn), Roniece, Katie and I! Now how on earth could you forget that? And yes Tonton, those stairs are still there and as scary as ever! Love the photo Eric.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just got back to the States and as of NOW ,get to see what was posted!
ReplyDeleteYummy dinner, lovely company and....no wonder Eric said he didn't know what he was going to post.
(ps, no one knew who Katie Perry was as I did a perfect imitation of her video with 2 elongated pepper shakers. How embarassing since I had to explain what I was imitating!!!!)
OK, I didn't know who she was either, until she was on my flight.
That's my favorite neighborhood, merci for reminding me it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy,
Christine Hueber
Oh, you all got together! Oh! another PDP party! Photos, please.
