Candies, ice cream, coffee, tea and much more...


If you go to Parc des Buttes Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement you will not only discover a very nice garden (I will show it to you!) but also this very elegant women. She will help you with hot chocolate, ice cream or cotton candies like no one!

  2. Another great foto. It may be my imagination, but one of the ice cream posters behind the woman seems modeled after the famous Michelangelo 'god/Adam hand' image (Sistine Chapel ceiling).

  3. It's funny Rock, I can see just the hint of a smile behind her rosy cheeks. Also, not sure if your readers know that cotton candy in French is called "Father's Beard" or "Barbe a Papa" which seems far more appropriate (and for sale on the board)!.

    raffifi, on t'a reconnu, tu peux te montrer...
    bon, sympa ceci dit la reconversion comme vendeur de barbe a papa...
    moi je vois pas trop le hinf of a smile, pour etre completely honest. ou alors c'est un smile tout-a-fait parisien, ou toute l'elegante sophistication reside dans le non-dit, le non-fait, et le non-agi...

    question anonymous, si, mais on imagine qu'il s'agit juste d'une coincidence. si tu regardes bien, les 4 images du haut ont toutes des formes de cone/ cone dans une main, et donc de main tendue vers un endroit. celle avec les deux cones fait un peu la scene de creation, mais c'est la main qui tient la glace rose qui rappelle le plus celle d'adam. idem, les couleurs en font vachement l'echo (le marron et le blanc creme en haut, le rose, le fond jaune vert de l'autre). y'a juste le shrek qui fait un peu tache, mais bon, on va dire que ce sont "les invasions barbares" venues d'outre-atlantique...
