If you were to give money to the Red Cross would you be more likely to give to a superb blond model or to the average Joe?! Well, don't bother, we all know the answer... That is why, following to
this very intelligent advertising campaign in which
Adriana Karembeu featured, some money collectors played the game and wore a blonde wig. Here is one of them. I can tell you this guy was having a big success!
[snort] what a funny way to advertise! it beats some guy standing out there looking bored and depressed!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I would rather give money to a guy wearing a womans wig then a blond good looking woman anyday! This guy just plain looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Totally funny! I love that "Adriana Karembeu" link you featured and of course, this guy is too funny ! Good find, Eric!
ReplyDeleteHave to let everyone here know that the HBO series, The Sopranos, filmed about half of tonight's episode in Paris, so if you can stomach the violence and miss Paris, be sure to try to see it when it reruns later this week - there are some beautiful scenes of this most beautiful of all cities. And thanks again for this great blog!
ReplyDeleteThat was so funny Eric! We need more commercials like this.
ReplyDeleteIs that Karembeu a famous French actress or model?
Merci Eric !
Eric, Once again I have to congratulate you on your creativity! One challenge for photographers is not to keep on repeating themselves. You most certainly do not have to worry about that.
ReplyDeleteA bientot j'espere,
this is so funny, the video is a must see to see the humor of this photo! great shot, Eric!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot, video, and campaign for this all too needed charity. It will be interesting to know the stats afterwards to know if they received more money than last year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great campaign!!!
ReplyDeleteI love advertisement like that, because you'll definitely remember! And the whole thing for a good course like that - brilliant!
I also like your picture a lot, it made me laugh out loud here at work... *embarassing*
> Michael, you can already have an idea of the results of that campaign for they did the same last year.
ReplyDelete"On ne change pas une équipe qui gagne !", as we say (to rarely these days…) in French.
This guy is so funny!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including the video. It really helped for understanding the picture. Cute, quirky, fun... yet I still can't help feeling a lingering sadness that we must resort to such measures to get people to be charitable.
ReplyDeleteExcellent campaign! I *love* the blonde guy!

Eric...Too funny is he wearing a WIG? I'm curious did you donate to the sexy blond? I love yesterdays photo, fantastic!
ReplyDeleteUn croisement entre Brice de Nice et Adriana Karembeu... ;-) Ca ne fait pas oublier que le don peut s'accorder avec la gaieté; merci pour les liens.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. You know, I do non-profit fundraising for a living. Who knows how much more successful I can be if I become a blonde!
ReplyDeleteLOL Buzzgirl, well that IS a thought! But no, stay just like you are...
ReplyDeleteI am sorry, I cannot comment too much tonight because I am really exhausted. Just postes tomorrow pic and... Off to bed.
Thanks for your nice reactions towards this campaign anyway - And BTW, no I did not give money to the Blonde guy...
Very funny! And thanks for the ad link as well.
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of the opening of "Murmur of the Heart" by Malle. Great shot.
