Bohemian scarecrow

Who would expect to come across a bohemian scarecrow in the middle of a big European city?. And though I did take this photo in Paris, near the greenhouse in Le jardin des Plantes. Whoever thought this one up was very clever. CD’s for earrings, the crows wouldn’t know what to do. Anyway, who said a scarecrow couldn’t also be a work of art (besides, we may want to scare the crows but not the tourists!).

  1. This is very funny, specially because i'm thinking on a visit to a place where we have the same to teach kids how an old farm used to be. You steal my idea Eric:)

So why wouldn't a scarecrow be elegant? :) Just look at those lips and perky nose!

Surely you jest...my silly little spider? Awww, thanks, I'm touched! ;-)

And HEY! You found H.R. PuffNStuff's long lost sister!

Anyone else watch that show when they were little?

    Until we meet again...probably tommorow!

  7. This scarecrow would only frighten the stupid tourists and the world could do with less of those. I may get one for our village. :-)

  10. that´s what I like of Europe, the way you open your mind to make art. In Cuba some years ago there was a group of artists that made art with trash. They were so important in the culture history of their country.

    Greetings from Perú

  14. aww Peggy, don't get down on tourists! Tourism provides a lot of revenue for a lot of places. Especially a city like Paris, a place where everyone wants to visit at least once. can you imagine how much revenue tourists bring to Paris each year?
