Elvis Lives!

Ironically, not far from the Opéra, you can find one of the rowdiest American places in Paris. Located at 21, rue Daunou in the 2nd arrondissement, The American Dream Café boasts all kinds of shows and American food. I’ve never been inside, so I can’t tell you about the quality, but if you judge a restaurant by it’s cover, then take a look for yourself here. The video should give you a good idea of what to expect!

Note: I am currently on vacation at the moment and I will be back on August 27. I can read your comments, but will not be able to reply until I return, thank you.

  5. Hey Eric! Hope your doing good there at Turkey! Have you recruited someone to do a Turkeydailyphoto yet? :)

Cool photo by the way. Elvis is such a legend, years after his death you can still see so many places that feature him!

  7. Hi Eric !

Take a break ! Enjoy your holiday and relax ! I guess it would be the opportunity to connect to real life and disconnect from the blog for a while !

You do not need to read all comments, most of them being meaningless anyway !

    Life is a beach !

  9. Aww, have a good trip Eric! The outside of this Cafe looks interesting. Kinda like vintage themed restaurants around here.

Meaningless to you maybe, but not to those who write them and probably not to the recipient, either! :)

  13. Close to the stock exchange area in Paris (just a few blocks away from the Opera) you can find the shop named Elvis My Happiness located on the 9 rue N-D des Victoires.
From the outside the shop looks very Elvis too, maybe one day I will enter it. 14. I went to a bachelorette party at the American Dream. Very camp, very cheezy, very touristy, etc... A slice of life.

I wonder if the French actually think that "The American Dream" café embodies the States?...
