Guess who I came across by accident yesterday? Yes, Tony Parker and Eva Longoria. They were invited to the wax museum (musée Grévin) to face Tony's wax replica... OK, the photo is terrible, i know, but, well, you cannot win everyday!

Eric, actually it's quite cool this photo. You can't photograph everyone like you did Tom Cruise, but then again, at least you get to see them in person.
ReplyDeleteI did some looking and found out that Tony Parker is the first basketball player ("basketteur" in French) to be inducted into the musée Grévin, wax museum. And that he was carved by Claus Velte in under 3 months.
Personally, I'd be more inclined to see Desperate Housewife and rich wife of his, Gabrielle Solis...oops, I meant Eva Longoria!
Eric, I had to Google the two names to know who these people were. I'm just a bit out of it, eh? :-) Still, I wonder what American TV and sports personalities are doing in a Parisian wax museum.

I agree with Michael. The blurry photo looks really great. It gives the impression of the crowd trying to get near them, just like you!!! LOL

ReplyDeleteThe image gives a surreal effect and despite it being blurry it creates a great effect and leads the eye to the figure in the centre who has to be Tony Parker. Right?
there is a gossip that they split up last week - and now you have the truth =) maybe you can earn some money with this shot.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's the first thing that crossed my mind: I have no idea who these people are, but I also heard something that came on Spanish TV recently, saying that they had split. You should sell this "scoop" Eric! :)

ReplyDeleteHmmmm...not that I pay much attention to celebrities, but here in Canada this kind of information is served up in the morning news. I thought they had broken up too.
ReplyDeleteBut I digress. That isn't the point. The point is that this is a very frantic looking picture(cool effect). It is as though Eric is being jostled about and carried along with the crowd; "desperately" (he, he)trying to catch a glimpse of little Eva. Whenever you see shots of the two Tony Parker stands head and shoulders (and head and shoulders) over Eva. You sure she is there?! ;-)

I am a huge fan of Desperate Housewives, but I really don't give a hoot about whom Eva Longoria is dating, although Tony Parker is mighty hot.

I remember once going to an ice-skating event where some famous ice-skater was present (I can't remember his name now), and when I told my husband that the guy was seating two seats beyond him, he asked me who that guy was anyway.

Tot ni par coeur (I love this) is hot! I once gave up a chance to photograph Meryl Streep when she was in St. Paul, because I hate jostling crowds.

ReplyDeleteEva left the US last week headed for Paris to be with Tony. It was no secret. It was all over the entertainment news here. It is rumored on again off again with her relationship. She also left here with bruised ribs. She tripped on her trailer steps on set. None broke but sore. Hope Paris & Tony has her feeling better.

Parker and Longoria is the annoying couple of the year, they just had a fight and made the spokesperson announce it to the world! They want to be in the news everyday or what?
