Somebody obviously lost a glove and passers by, instead of leaving it on the pavement, put it on a pole (there are plenty of poles in Paris to prevent cars from parking on sidewalks!). It's surely not the PDP photo of the year but I thought it was a cute way of waving at you and thanking you for all your best wishes in the latest comments. I'm back from Normandy and off to Boston now, but I will continue posting, of course.

Hey Ame! Normandy was fine but pretty cold and misty.
I took this photo on rue de la Grange Batelière (small street, you won't know it).

Please try and visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on the Fenway...I think you will enjoy it very much!! It is one of my favorite places in Boston!! Boston? Too cool for words, the famed Eric in the country where I live! Enjoy Boston and an absolute must-see there: the glass flower collection at the Harvard Museum of Natural History. I have seen it twice and was literally blown away each time.

I'm in Papua New Guinea where it is 32 degrees (celsius not farenhite) - so wintery pictures of Paris seem very out of season. Have been to Paris 4 or 5 times so am loving the snap shots of places I have seen and places I haven't. Will be there again in Sept/Oct so am making a list of your little corners of Paris to see. Absolutely luv your site - keep in going please!!!
