2411 photos to date !
Today (Sunday), I'll have the pleasure to present ParisDailyPhoto at a conference at Le Salon de La Photo in Paris at 4 pm (apparently in a place called l'Agora du net or near the E15 stand) - you can have a free entrance ticket here with code DCL11. Preparing my presentation, I went through a lot of my previous photos (including the very first one actually) and it brought back a lot of nice memories. I find it hard to believe that it'll be 7 years in march that I started ParisDailyPhoto. So today, I'm offering you a little mosaic!

Memories! Eric, I hope you know how much we all appreciate what you do. Your daily dose of Paris is a highlight of my day, and the PDP community is so wonderful. It is a wonderful thing you have created. Merci.
ReplyDeleteYour pdp is indeed a refreshing highlight of my day. Never stop Eric that's what I'd say!
ReplyDeleteMemories is right!! Not only is each photo special in its own way but when you look at the composition of the mosaic here you realize how special this body of work truly is!!! Parfait!! Merci for all your hard work M. Tenin!!! How lucky we males are that we don't have to deal with the Mlle vs. Mme issue ehhh? An M. will suffice! ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaic Eric! I still love the lady in the blue and white hat w/sunglasses and the sheep or lamb in the straw!
ReplyDeleteNice memories!
Kris
Congratulations, Eric!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this amazing milestone Eric and I'll thank you one more time for introducing me to Blogworld and CDPB World as well. It has changed me life.
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is but a sampling of all the marvelous photos you've posted. I started here in March 2007, and the rest is history. Sorry I couldn't be there for your presentation. Bon chance!

2,411? Mon dieu -- that's impressive! I'm also very grateful to you for introducing me to all this. Merci, mon ami!
ReplyDeleteI credit you with my beginnings at this as well, Eric. I hope you find it rewarding--you reward us every day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your upcoming milestone. I hope your presentation goes well!
7 years!!!! But do you get the itch? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations on managing to keep up with it for so long!
The direct benefit for most of us, I think, is not only keeping up with life in Paris but also all these people we have come to befriend through the blog.
Thank you for this, Eric!
My favorite of these is the view of Ile St. Louis. The sunlight on the building is beautiful. I sometimes use it as my wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on seven years. I selfishly hope that you'll never stop!!
Janet in Chicago, USA
Wonderful mosaic Eric. A real combination of the different types of photos you show us every day. Keep up the good work because so many of us stop in every day to enjoy it. You started something wonderful here.
Merci beaucoup!
ReplyDeleteMy dear friend Eric,
ReplyDeleteYou have brightened the lives of many thousands in these seven wonderful years.
You have brought Paris to everyday folk and as a tribute to you, everyday folk have made the pilgrimage to Paris.
You are directly responsible for acutely high levels of pleasure amongst those you have touched.

Congratulations, thank you, and knock 'em dead at your presentation.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the consistencies! Great job all these while! How about sharing that very first photo? I've only been a loyal follower a couple of years back. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you Eric. After all of these years, you're starting to get some credit for all you do. I think of all of the friends I've made here and met in person thanks to PDP.
ReplyDeleteGood luck for the presentation! I'll be there of course.
Good on you Eric, that is a wonderful way to showcase your passion. I have been a visitor to PDP since my first trip to Paris in 2008 and I can't imagine a day without it....i wish I could be there for the presentation:)
ReplyDeleteOh this looks marvellous! As so many think, your blog here is wonderful, interesting and informative. What else do you need when visiting Paree? I feel proud to have been a small part of this community you have created and wish you bonne chance for your presentation today. Or, as we say for any performance, in the UK, break a leg! Please Michael, we shall need photos or a vid if you are permitted to take such there. :) Shall be thinking of you, Eric, at 4 pm.
ReplyDeleteI can only echo the sentiments of everyone else.
ReplyDeleteMay I add that when I look at some of the photos in the mosaics, I think of my blogger friends, like Monica, in the bottom right corner.
And it'll soon be ten years. And then fifteen, twenty, a quarter century! See you for the silver anniversary of PDP ;~Sab
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till 4:00, and when I told you I had my ticket, you thought I meant my ticket back to NY. Of course not; my ticket to the Fall PDP Picnic! I have my priorities. Will be wonderful to see your presentation. Congratultions on the Magic Seven!

ReplyDeleteYou are no doubt at the event now and ramping up as it will soon be 4 PM.
ReplyDeleteFor those of us who cannot attend "Le Salon de La Photo", I trust you are taking photos so that we can be there virtually. :-)
We, your PDP family, are so proud of your photo (and tech) achievements in the art world Eric.
Congratulations, Eric! How I wish I could be there . . . You bring pleasure and wonder to every day. (I think my favorites are your Paris in the Snow photos!) Thank you!

Contratulations, Eric. I met you here about 7 years ago, and have had the privilege to meet you twice in Paris since. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteTo read my comment, go back to the comments box of the very first PDP photo, March 11th 2005.
ReplyDeleteIncroyable! Thank you, thank you and thank you again. I learn so much from you. Besides the beautiful and unique eye-dazzling photos, you really give us insight into French culture and our beloved City of Lights.
ReplyDeleteMany, many congratulations to you, Eric!!!
ReplyDeleteYou ask each of us when we first visit PDP -" You love Paris?" Well, because of you, as much as we thought we loved Paris, we love it even more. And because of you, people who didn't know they'd love Paris, have come to do so. And because of you, people who would never have shared their love of Paris with each other, now count each other as friends. And because of you, every visitor from around the world has his/her soul fed every day with the beauty and truth you find on the streets of the city you so clearly, dearly love.
So ...may all the good you spread every day, find its way back to you a thousand times over! Merci mille foix...you are an inspiration.
EIFFEL TOWER!
