I think I have never shown that many times the Eiffel Tower on PDP than this past month! This time it's from the side of the Trocadero, where, on top of the ice rink, they also have a marché de noël (Christmas market) where you can find anything from Russian dolls to gluewein and French cheeses! Always a great success, and the presence of the iron lady in the background adds a little flavour to it. Last days to complete your Christmas shopping everyone... Mine's completed (99% online this year!)

Love, love, love the photo! I love going to the Marche de Noel - it is so magical. I used to go the one in Amiens (north) each year. I didn't know there was one right in Paris. Lovely photo.

ReplyDeleteI live next to the German border so I'm used to these huge Christmas Markets with all the stalls but with the Eiffel Tower in the background this must be THE market.
@Petrea. In German Mozart means... Mozart and Kugeln... balls!

oh i love this shot! i'm really behind this christmas. i usually buy almost all my stuff online but this year i didn't. also my kids have hardly asked for anything this year, must not be anything really cool out this christmas, other than the usual ipods, etc...going out today and hopefully i'll be able to finish this up! merry christmas!

Google chickened out and translated kugeln as "rolls." Here's the awful thing, though: I'm an adult and I'm sitting at my desk at 6:30 in the morning trying to come up with a joke involving balls and magic flutes! And I can't come up with a good one!
