Cruising the Seine

The weather has finally decided to be nicer... Parisians are thankful and so are the tourists. At least the ones that cruised the Seine on a "bateau mouche" today! My eyes got caught by the lady in green in this photo, but it's only now that I realized she was being photographed by someone with a pretty "professional" attitude... Maybe she's a model or something! Anyway I love the atmosphere in this photo.

  1. Nah, we all pose like that on the bateaux mouche. Paris will do that to a woman.

I love the colors and effect in this photo!

  2. They're all having fun, and they should, because they just passed the famous PDP picnic spot and now are going under le Pont des Arts. Looks like they have great weather.

  3. I think the little guy in green up front with the camera is much cuter. I love to go on the bateaux mouches at night with everythihg all lit up - tres romantique!

  4. Maybe she was posing in the hope that she will be posted on PDP ;)

  6. Aren't these tourists stylish -- you could never say that they are "drab". It's a very happy photo.

  7. I'm with Suzy. She's a good-looking girl and her friend no doubt has a great camera—that he's probably into as much as he is into her. :~} On the other hand, I love this shot, Eric (and the young photog in green)!
They're passing under the Pont des Arts, oui?

  10. I have a friend visiting Paris right now - I looked for her on the boat in case, by chance, she was there. Alas no. I can't wait for her to return and tell me all about her adventure. Enjoy the day!

  13. Oh! For a minute, there, I thought "cruising the Seine" meant something else. Silly me. ;)
