I had to stop!

I'm just back from a delightful dinner with "the bag hag", aka Ingrid Chua, the charming goddess of fashion accessories who happened to be in Paris, and on the way back I passed by the Pont du Carroussel, a bridge that leads to the Louvre Carroussel (where the pyramid is located) and even though I'm used to seeing this quite often (yes, I know, it's unfair LOL!) I could not help but taking another of these night shots. Surprisingly, the sky was clear, whereas it's been raining all day.

  1. This is beautiful, Eric. The sky turning to night and the golden water. So peaceful.

  13. So glad you couldn't resist. My commute took me over this bridge every day for years—now my commute takes me over a much bigger bridge, but I still miss this one!

  18. I think it is so beautiful because it was raining all day. Cleared out the sky and made the air perfectly clear and ready to be photographed.

  20. Eric, I really can't stop looking at this photo. If I were an artist, I would paint it in a semi-abstract form, using watercolors. It is absolutely beautiful. One of your best (well, the best list of your photos is very long! LOL)
Where do you get all of your energy!
