Yes, that is really an easy photo, I know, but who cares! You may have recognized Le Louvre, right by the famous Pyramid and you probably also noticed... the moon, which is of great help in the composition of this shot. To be frank, I stayed there a good 15 minutes to enjoy the show, for yes, it was really fantastic! I hope you can enjoy it as much as I did...

I will never tire of seeing the Louvre lit up at night! You are right, Eric - the moon makes the shot!
ReplyDeleteMajestic, luminous, and cheerfulness. Love that full moon ... merci
ReplyDeleteOh go ahead and bore me to tears with the Louvre. That moon is much like one I caught in june 2010 right there. A magical moment Eric. Thanks for bringing back that memory.

What a beautiful scene, Eric!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely shot! Could be one to keep in mind for next year's Paris calendar?
ReplyDeleteJust checked in after a few days. Bonjour mes amis, ou bon soir. Nice photo, in l'ouvre de moon over Louvre.
ReplyDeleteA few days ago you posted a dance photos, and somebody commented about the jitterbug. The jitterbug is a version of the Lindy or Lindy Hop. The Lindy started in Harlem, a very black neighborhood and dance. The white teenagers picked it up and the name changed to jitterbug. I've always thought that the white people had to change the name so it would be acceptable. I may be wrong about this.
You say this is an easy photo, Eric, but I disagree. It took years and labor to build the Louvre, and many have lived and died to create the beauty of its history. And think of the work the moon had to do to light the shot for you!
ReplyDeleteBlue moon...you caught me standing alone... Such a beautiful photo prompted me to song!
