First of all, let me thank you all for your get well messages, they went straight to my heart even if for the time being I cannot answer everyone. In fact, I misjudged this operation (gallbladder removal); I thought I would get back on my feet the next day after the surgery, and, well, I simply can't! All I managed to do today was to go out around my pâté de maison (which literally means "apartment buildings pâté" - that's what we call a "block" in France) and take this photo. As you can see the rain has returned! Have a great Sunday everyone.

Thank you for this photo today that I like a lot. Yes rainy days often make good photos but you would not miss the rain in your neck I guess! All you need now is ... rest. All you need nextstep is ... love, love from all your friends, all over the world, including Paris. Wish you a quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice resting Sunday.
Well I am impressed you managed that! Great photo Eric but please don't attempt too much too soon. Get well first! X these things take a while.

ReplyDeleteDo rest, Eric! I'm sure you have many wonderful photos in your archives. Healing takes longer now that we are over 29.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned, you can post a photo of your ten toes at the end of the bed. You know we love you rain or shine, with or w/o your gallbladder, new photo or whatever!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others. Get well first and then think about photos. Take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteTake care now Eric.

I misunderstood, I was thinking you had gall stones removed - not your gall bladder. Keep on exercising - you seem to be recovering well. Any photos will do. Your blog has been a favorite for some time, now.
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't commented recently, we are on holiday in Menorca and in a villa with no internet.
ReplyDeleteHowever we are in a bar with wi-fi and send you our love and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Gee! I thought you would lie down in the wet street to get a "kool" reflection of autos streaming by to obtain the famous Tenin worms eye view of the situation! LOL - just kidding. You probably can't even bend down, much less get up again at this point.
ReplyDeleteJust take it easy and recuperate! That is the "assignment." I am sure you have some great "stock" images that will suffice and bring delight to all of us spread out around the globe.
