Sunday, lovely Sunday

Have a peaceful Sunday everyone, just like in Paris at the moment, where everyone is out celebrating this extraordinary mild weather. I took this photo just outside the Musée d'Orsay where the line to get in was so long that the people who were at the end of it probably waited two hours before reaching the ticket booth! Why? Because there are a lot of Italian and Spanish tourists in Paris, because apparently the 6th is a holiday there...

  1. A very inviting location and a complete contrast to the weather on this side of the Atlantic!

  2. That looks so inviting. It's a little too cold to be outside for long here.
Have a lovely Sunday, Eric. :-)

  3. Musée d'Orsay. I love this museum. We read in the press, last week, that the attendance at this museum was slightly down, which surprised me, as I find this museum is one of the very best of the city. But I'm glad to read that you saw a line of at least two hours yesterday !
Do you think this couple was dissuaded to stand in line and preferred to talk quietly on the Seine? Chatting away in a good company is anyway, as well, a really first choice, whatever the reason.
Thank you for your beautiful photos, always.

  4. Well, I hope you are enjoying the weather there, because it is colder than a witches tit here.

    1. Sorry Donna... "Colder that a witches tit", I did not know this expression, but I love it!
