For once, today's story does not take place in Paris, but in... London. For yesterday, I was lucky enough to have been invited by Nikon to try their latest reflex camera D600 (yes, it's advertising in - not so much! - in disguise!) to visit the world famous Abbey Rd. studios, the very same ones where the Beatles (and many other artists) recorded all their albums and took this famous photo! I had a blast, and since I like to share, here is a little Animoto ending with my attempt to ape the Beatles crossing the road!
Is this a record-setter? First posted photo out of Paris? It is a big day! But, I would have gone, too, if invited.

ReplyDeleteWell I cannot tell you how jealous I am that you got to enter the hallowed halls of Abbey Road! I have a similar photo of me and my DH crossing the same road -- but of course we didn't get to go inside the studio! What an amazing experience for you!

ReplyDelete@Alexa and Tamera. I loved the camera of course, but I just bought myself my D7000 so I'm not ready to change yet! It's main advantage is to be "full frame" which offers more possibilities and a better picture quality.

Mr Phx is inLHR on Gloucester Road , Not as exciting as Abbey Road and he had to pay more to get there.
