This is not the first time I have posted a photo of the statues that can be found outside the beautiful Palais de Tokyo, a palace that was built in 1937 to shelter a modern art museum (actually two, one local and one national, but let's not complicate things!). This time, I tried to find a new angle; I took this photo through the legs of one of the statues, located in the foreground. A sort of modern art peep show in other words!

Peep show!

The things you do to get a new perspective. Have they cleaned up all the graffiti and trash down there???

Nah, not totally, but it's better. The place is really a dump sometimes though.
ReplyDeleteVa va voom, Eric! After I read the title, I wasn't quite sure what I was looking at there for a second! This photo is tres artistique!
ReplyDeleteLike Monet, who kept finding new ways to see water lilies, you are an artist, Eric!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Eric. Voyeurism in the name of art.
ReplyDeleteExcellent framing Eric! Every pose in the picture is leaning back to the left. Esthetically very pleasing and culturally expletive. The best I have seen, especially in B/W.
ReplyDeleteOoh, La, La, Eric! Very interesting, although if I had read the title first, I would have been hesitant to look!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good opportunity to compare the Cloud Gate in Millennium Park in Chicago. Hint, hint.
ReplyDeleteWhat a frame ! What a title !! and what a power !
ReplyDeleteBeside, the foreground playing like a blind, I would need to touch to be sure, like the blind do (rôo la la... Eric !!).
Those thighs look like my cellulite after a long stay in Paris.......
ReplyDeleteHilarious ! Gave me a great laugh.
ReplyDeleteEric, you naughty boy:) hehehe BEST (and only) peep show I've ever enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteSneak a peep...looking through the legs of statues! Great shot. :)
ReplyDeleteCheeky!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! The perspective reminded me instantly of The Graduate.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me...aren't you?"
Lol: the power of a good title...
ReplyDeleteMy first visit to Paris in 2002 was to document as much Art Deco as I could find. I love what you have done here with the "view". Most enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Stephan
