No I did not steal the title of this post from The game of Thrones series, but from reality... As of today (Monday) winter is really coming to Paris (and France in general). According to forecasts the temperature will be as low as -4° C (25° F) tomorrow morning and it might even snow ;-) As for me, I spent the whole weekend in bed because of a nasty cold! Nothing serious, though ;-) I'll probably be able to go out again and take more photos tomorrow.

It won't snow for long as i heard, am i right? I just wanna see. Paris in white.
ReplyDeleteSo that's why my fingers nearly froze off walking the dog just now...
ReplyDeleteKudos to the hardy souls sitting outside at the cafe on the left. I will gladly trade weather--we will have single digits (Farenheit!) at night for the rest of the week, with daytime highs below freezing, here in Nuevo Mexico. Brrr....no me gusta.
ReplyDeleteIt would be beautiful to see Paris in white...:).
ReplyDeletehope you get well soon and show us some more beautiful photos of Paris.
Je suis desolee tu es malade. A cold is no fun, winter or summer. This photo looks like the weather for a cold.
ReplyDeleteStay warm. Get better.
Good recommendation from Jeff. Stay in bed and feel better really soon.
ReplyDeleteI like how your photo portrays the wet and cold of winter.
ReplyDeleteColds are no fun! Hope you recover soon.
Mon Dieu, mon vieux—pick yourself up off the pavement and go back to bed! And be grateful the flu virus is not rampant, as it is here. Oh, and great photo!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Stay warm, stay in bed, take care of yourself. But you're not going to take orders from me, are you? So do what Nadege says. And obey Alexa!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope you hurry and feel better so you can get out for photos!
ReplyDeleteEric feel better soon. Stay in bed, have some hot soup and feel all the good health wishes coming your way.
ReplyDeleteWorld weather is absolutely bizarre these days.
Eric, how is it possible that each time I'm reading 'feel better soon', I'm wondering why people know how tired I feel today... (lol) ! This is silly since it was not me in your bed, the whole WE. Ok I wrote it like that !!! Just get you having a little smile, maybe!
ReplyDeleteThe photo shows a footstep and I really wish it could be mine, for it would mean I am on my way off the work. Feel better, Winter is the best season to feel warm inside while snowing outside.
Feel better! I have a work trip to CDG on Thursday, leaving just in time for the cold wave. Last year Canal St Martin froze over! Vin chaude, here ai come.
ReplyDeleteTake care Eric... and feel better.
ReplyDeleteWinter is here in Texas too! After Friday's temperature being near 70 degrees F, it is now 40 degrees F for a high during the day and 25 degrees F at night. Brrrr
ReplyDeleteI hope that you are feeling better soon! :)
Mr PHX just sent an email saying it is snowing in Paris
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. I'm actually much better - I even had to go out today.
ReplyDeleteBut not 100% back on me feet ;-)
Yes PHX it snowed a bit for about an hour last evening, but not enough to make want to go out and take photos LOL
@Kristie 25° F in Texas?! Yes, that's cold!
Just one last thing @Jeff. "Je suis desolee tu es malade." It's Je suis désolé que tu SOIS malade". (It's this awful subjonctif, you know...)
ReplyDelete(I hope you don't mind me telling you).
Yes, the weather had been so nasty the past few days , but today its BEAUTIFUL!
