Merry Christmas everyone!

No I did not write this myself just to take a photo! I found it in the 11th arrondissement near a building entrance. I wish you all a super Christmas (and most particularly Ham from London Daily Photo). I'm in Normandy for a couple of days, so I won't have access to a computer for 48 long hours!!

  10. As a little Christmas Gift...

Eric, you may like to know that I was interviewed again for Spanish newspaper, ABC, on Saturday. I mentioned Paris Daily Photo having been the inspiration for Tenerife Daily Photo. They've obviously visited, because the journalist already knew PDP and was impressed by how you post photos that are always that bit different.

    More international fame. :)

    And, of course, well deserved.

Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Joyeux Noël.

  11. Joyeux Noël parmi les tiens en Normandie où, contrairement à la pensée commune, le climat doit être plus clément qu'à Paris :)

  13. I just received the most wonderful present for Christmas. Dave got us tickets to see Juliette Greco at the Theatre in Chatelet, tickets to Paris from Lexington on NorthWest, and three nights at the Hotel Sevigne in the Marais. All this is scheduled for mid February. I am still in shock. We never go to France except in May-June. This has to be the most glorious Christmas gift I have ever received.

May all the folks in Eric's Merry Band have a Joyeux Noel!! Johnny

  18. Hello,
Christmas Day falls on December 25. It is preceded by Christmas Eve on December 24, and in some countries is followed by Boxing Day on December 26. Some Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate Christmas on January 7, which corresponds to December 25 on the Julian calendar. December 25 as a birthdate for Jesus is merely traditional, and is not thought to be his actual date of birth. Regards

I'm still waiting for the photos behind the Cordon Bleu and from the backside of the Winged Victory...

Merry Christmas to everyone around the world.

  27. Just remembering: most beautiful Christmas wish I have ever seen - a graffiti of a block wall of a periphery neighborhood in Bucharest, in the late '90s:
"Merry, merry Christmas, love of my life"...
Pity I never took a picture...

A late "happy new year" to you all!
