Party time!

I do not go out in clubs very often but today (Monday) was special. All day I attended the fantastic Le Web 3 conference organized by Loic Le Meur, the most famous French blogger, and tonight I went to the party he and one of his partners (Netvibes) was hosting at Paris Bodega a new club that is about to open to the public soon. Despite a real cloakroom organisation problem(!) it's a great place to party. More photos on the making of.

  1. Looks fun, but could you really enjoy the show from this perspective?

  2. You've been a real party animal lately, Eric!

  3. I like all the photos on the "making of" as well. But I notice that about 90% of the people there are men! I think they needed a party planner!

Latin Club? I got an Internet Explorer error when I wemt to the club's website so I didn't get to check it out. I keep getting IE errors when I'm on some of the DP sites but never when I'm at other sites. I don't know if it's my IE or DP...anyone else having that problem?

  7. Ahhhhhhhh Edulabbe...there ya go...was wondering when someone would venture there! LOL! And Eric! You just have THE social life don't you? I'm really JEALOUS! At least I get to "be there" virtually and for that, I MERCI' YOU! ;-) Gorgeous shot--brilliant color...looks like my hair when I first had it done!

  8. One certainly could enjoy the show from this perspective, buzzgirl, though, I agree with edulabbe. In the words of Steve Irwin: "Ooh, there's a real beauty--let's get a little closer..."

    Bon nuit, et bon chance.

  10. Wonderful shot, Eric! Full of action and vivid colour. Love it, it looks so much fun. However, anticipating the blog of the most famous French blogger was more exciting than the reality. I felt i was fighting through adverts and still did not understand really what he was blogging about?
The night club i was anxious to see but the website was s..l..o..w, the countdown at the beginning makes me want to scream (i am an impatient person though for things like this, i know)and although the music and shadowy figures make me want more, more did not come. I wanted to see the inside and outside of the venue, dancing shots, bar shots.
I'm so glad you had a great time though Eric and your purpose was executed superbly as ever. Tell us; did you dance, DO you dance? ;)

  12. Terrific color. Very Bob Fosse choreography look. I would love to have been there to see the "Chorus Line" and "All that Jazz".

  13. "Laissez les bons temps rouler" as they say in New Orleans...
Love the perspective and the dancing lights, but I agree with zsolt72, from the additional photos the party seemed rather subdued...surely it is not the bloggers way:-)
Susan in Atlanta - I had no problems upoading the links, although they are pretty lethargic.
(also, you must come back tonight for the answer to my quiz!)
