Short caption, Eric? Are you overwhelmed that much at work that you can't stand writing any more words around midnight ? ;DPlease forgive me this bad joke... With the somptuous weather we're having now, that was for sure a super outside dinner outside Paris.
Everything looks so soft and romantic by candlelight. Great capture.
What a wonderful photo! I feel like I can hear the voices and taste the food.

Yes, the candlestick makes the picture. As well as it makes a soft atmosphere. Sigh... a soft time while looking at this picture. I feel like I can hear them too, Tea lady, that's so true!...
If Renoir was alive, he'd paint this scene and call it "Amis Dans le Jardin."
Ah, what a gathering. And so beautifully captured.
Like a scene from a movie ...
Eric,Thank you for inviting us into this very special evening. I think this might just be a very favorite photo pour moi. Merci,V
That's a wonderful, touching photo (love the candlelight)—and clearly a great memory for you. Let's hear it for good food and good friends!
You captured a wonderful mood. Everyone was so engrossed with enjoying each other's company they never noticed you with your camera. (Or are they accustomed to it?!) Very nice.
That's so pretty, Eric! Thank you for allowing us to bask in the warm candlelit glow with you...
Hopefully your picnic will end with a similar sentiment as this photo - beautiful, filled with all the best things in life! magic!
Oh, what marvelous atmosphere. What Eiffel Tower Suzy said is perfectly right!
mmm that looks soooo inviting! :)
Probably your shortest note since the birth of PDA ;-)But the phot says it all: good friends, good food, good wine(s), good atmosphere... Great evening, and, as you say, certainly a precious moment...
: ) I'm happy for you
Life is really made up of these precious moments. So glad you had a wonderful night. (We had a candlelight dinner the other night too, but we had a souffle and apple muffins. My kids just love candlelight dinners! lol)
This looks like if you had a perfect evening with friends. In a garden just outside Paris - SIGH !
How very kind of you to share this moment and image with us Eric!It looks an amazing gathering..... I find incredible this tradition that the french have to unite around a table with some wine and lots of friends. Here we don't do that much, usually people get together in restaurants. I think that doing it at somebody's house is much more special.
And, if people don't usually meet around tables chez eux, let alone meeting for a picnic!Soooo that's why I find it even more special and amazing to have a picnic with friends like you guys are going to do tomorrow. Please keep the calendar Eric and don't let the tradition of the picnic fade. Maybe next year I'll finaly be able to go to Paris at the same time the picnic is held..... I'll only have real vacations again next year so I have to be patient.
One more thing..... I'm wondering which one of you will send me a little hi from the picnic..... Rosie.. Michael...?!Can't believe Guille is not going :(
Ok, now is the last comment, promise.Last year, by this time, I actually was there in Paris hanging with you guys...... miss it sooooo much!!!
Looks like you had a lovely evening. We also had a great night last night in an Irish pub in the Bastille area, listening to a fantastic rock band. We finally staggered out about 1.30amHoping to attend a performance of the Mozart Requiem tonight. Talk about a contrast!Just off to buy the champagne for the picnic tomorrow! It's very warm and the weather should be great.
Great friends, good food...good weather...perfect! xv
Ah, thats a beautiful settings. Very warm and friendly. Now only if I spoke a bit of French.- Mindless Mumbai
Bonsoir Eric, Of all the photos you should treasure are moments with family and friends.Enough said! Best wishes,Therese
