Wish you were here!

I know you're going to be envious, but I can't help it! The weather in Paris at the moment is really nice (a little too hot maybe...) and walking down the embankment is a real treat. FYI? the first bridge is Pont Marie and the second one - in the background - is Pont Louis Philippe. I hope this will help you start the week with a big smile...

  1. What a truly lovely photo! How nice to see sun and blue skies. It is raining here in Colorado and while we need the rain, I miss the sun!

  2. Thanks for the smile, Eric. You bring back good memories of walking to and fro Ile St. Louis via Pont Marie.

  3. I love your last photo of those sexy hairy legs Eric! I'm sorry to have to wait until today to say so but I was without internet service for most of this weekend.
As for today's lovely photo - I wish I were there too.

  5. Hi Eric - First visit to your site. It sure is a lot of fun. Wouldn't you know I'd be missing the great weather. I'm bookmarking your site and will be back to learn more - even though I live just down the road, I know so little of Paris. Thanks.

  7. A little too hot maybe? Just sing "I love Paris in the summer, when it sizzles . . ."
You sure lined this one up perfectly! It makes me cool just looking at the river in this shot. Thanks!

  9. Well Eric, just go ahead and make me weep. I walked across the Pont Marie just last Wednesday and now I'm home and very homesick for Paris. Will I ever tire of her? I think not.

  15. So beautiful. Yes, I am envious as it is cool this week. And the scenery is pretty, but not gorgeous like this. Yes, I wish I was there. But alas, life pulls me onward here and I must stay, at least for a while longer. :) Someday...

  16. YES It has thank you Eric.

I had a text this morning from a friend lunching on the Champs-Elysees, he said it was a beautiful day. I'm envious as its freezing WINTER here.

I'm in another time zone (New Zealand) 10 hours ahead.

  17. Eric

    Perfect blue Paris

New York area is hot and muggy.
    Heat alert later today.
Had a chance to taste Rillettes and Nonettes and many other French treats yesterday at Fancy Food Show including Corsican Whisky and Beer.

  20. right near these 2 bridges is a building that has a cannonball stuck in it from the French revolution.

Would have liked to have met you, Virginia.

  23. Beautiful! Even though our hotel was only a block away from the river, our metro station was a block in the other direction so I did not see as much of the river as I would have liked! Hopefully I will get there again and not too long away!

  24. But this is an older photo, isn't it? How can trees not be green at this time in Paris? :)

  27. C'est ma photo préférée. D'eau est très bleu. Il n'est pas un nuage dans le ciel. J'aime beau temps.

  28. Hi, I went to Paris recently; bought a really cool app for my android phone; called "Paris in 3 Days". It presented me my itinerary already done, with lots of info, metro station, restaurants and history. Tips and fascinating info on sites I never imagine to know without hiring a guide. I really recommend it to anyone going to Paris. It is called "paris in 3 days" this is the web site: http://myworldcity.host-ed.net/

    And Enjoy Paris!
