So this is definitely November and it shows! The Eiffel Tower was in the clouds last evening when I returned from a meeting at Boulogne Billancourt (in the close suburbs of Paris). I took this photo from the lovely Passerelle Debilly that you may remember
because of this love story... We're expecting more cloudy weather this weekend and a drastic drop in temperature next week!
Lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteEIFFEL TOWER!
ReplyDeleteEIFFEL TOWER!!
EIFFEL TOWER!!!
Ahhhhhh ... I've found my new desktop picture! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, very nice. Er, I mean tres belle, tres belle. (It wouldn't be nice to say it's 'Nice' in Paris.)
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying your photos for a long time. A couple of years? Even though I rarely have time to comment, please know that I appreciate your images every day.
ReplyDeleteThis one is my favorite. The accent lights on the bridge, its structure curving across the foreground creating a frame within the frame, the lit Eiffel tower disappearing into the mist: merveilleux!
This photo looks otherworldly. It is GORGEOUS! This is a unique view/angle that is new to me. However, I do recall the proposal photo; that story/photo is one of my favorites at PDP!
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful composition!
ReplyDeleteNovember is frequentable, but only by night. Photogenic by night...
Each time I pass by this Passerelle, I do remember your Manu and Smitha previous shot, Eric!
Now, I will think of that new one and enjoy the fabulous scenery there. Each time that capsizes me. Love it.
Flore
I love your photo. Yesterday here in Paris was soooo COLD!!! I never felt warm all day....but Paris in any weather seems to me to be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAlready 2012 calendar shots? This is a real winner!
ReplyDeleteI agree, this one wins a place on the 2012 calendar for November.
ReplyDeleteWell, what can I say? You make me see this city where we both live, under a different light.
ReplyDeleteMerci!
I needed to catch the best out of the ville(somethimes it's not so easy, here).
See you soon
Alessandra
Excellent photo Eric, and a charming love story, which I hadn't seen before - very special. Now we really need to know if she said 'Yes!' or if she wasn't feeling at all romantic because of that pervy photographer at the end of the bridge who kept spoiling their intimate moment ;-)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Love it. -- Elizabeth
ReplyDelete:) Everybody wishing this as a screen saver is right - such a superbe illumination!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! Looks like a nice day to walk around. Or curl up in a cafe with a good book.
ReplyDeleteI have nothing more to add than: You are the Master, Eric. This is absolutely gorgeous. I stand in awe of your awesomeness. :)
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING. ETONNANT.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Eiffel Tour photo. Not the one in a tourist guide, but one which shows exactly the mood of the city in November.
ReplyDeleteThis is a magnificent photo, Eric, haunting in its elegance and color.
ReplyDeleteOh...I am weak over this glorious shot! Superbe! Merci for reminding me of the splendor that is Paris in November; a month that holds so many warm memories of past Parisian adventures for me...
ReplyDeleteEric, your unsurpassed talent just keeps getting better and better--this shot is absolutely supurb. OMG, I'm speechless.
