Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!
Of course in France Thanksgiving does not really mean anything, but I know I have a lot of American visitors on this blog. And since you guys are probably enjoying a nice family weekend I thought a nice turkey photo was appropriate for today... I took it during my own Thanksgiving celebration in Paris, that American friends of mine organized a few days ago. Always a fun moment. So let's see, what are you thankful for?!

PDP and Eric Tenin!
ReplyDeleteMy daily dose of Paris! Thank you, Eric!

I am thankful that I did not have to clean up after your Thanksgiving Day Dinner this year!! LOL!!! Or for that matter ANYBODY'S Thanksgiving Day Dinner!! But if it would guarantee that you continue PDP for the next thirty years or so I may consider flying into CDG with an apron and some dish washing liquid in my bag so I could give you a hand in the kitchen!! ;-) LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI am grateful you are taking the time to photograph amazing places, subjects... Thank you Eric!
ReplyDeleteSo thoughtful of you to remember your American visitors! I'm thankful for good health and eyesight which allows me to take photos -- and look at the wonderful ones posted on Paris Daily Photo.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful that:
ReplyDeleteI'm still alive (as far as I know, it could be an illusion: thank M. Sartre for this)
I have a few friends who do care about me.
I have family members who care about me.
My mother, bless her heart, is still alive and she definitely cares about me.
I can still taste the beauty of French and Italian wine.
I love to cook, which means I love to eat.
I have not lost hope that one of the beautiful women I fall in love with will fall in love with me. (Stay tuned, same Bat time, same Bat channel...)
Most, if not all, of the people I've befriended through PDP still stay in touch with me.
Eric and Michael are two of them.
Indeed, I am thankful for PDP and for you, Eric. I miss France so much, and you provide a way to give me little visits there. You've also created a community in which I'm not the only one who is "over the moon" about Paris!
ReplyDeleteYou bet! I'm very grateful for PDP and Eric, and the blogging world you've opened up for me.
ReplyDeleteBeyond that, if I start listing all the things I'm thankful for I'll take up too much space. Life is good.
I'm also thankful for a lot of things - my family and friends, a good turkey dinner yesterday, and of course PDP which I look into and enjoy every day, and which let me to find a few other daily photo blogs too! Thanks Eric.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
ReplyDeletede bonne taille cette dinde!!!...avec de l'huile d'olive Puget ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for God who loves me no matter what an idiot I am, a wonderful husband and children who are amazing, friends and family who are close, the blessing of health, (meeting my weight loss goal for this year--25 lbs gone!--Yippee! :), and for Eric and the PDP and all the wonderful friends I've met around the world. Glad to have "met" you all and God bless you.
ReplyDeleteThis is a photo I didn't expect to see on your site. So glad you get to experience the traditional Thanksgiving meal with friends. That bird appears to be done perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful that you have the inspiration and the energy to keep gifting us with not only great pics but such good insight into our favorite place...Paris, and her inhabitants. Bravo Eric !

I too am grateful for my daily dose of Paris—and for you and all of my good blog friends! I'm also glad that I just got to spend Thanksgiving in beautiful Venice (no turkey, but a fabulous pumpkin flan!). Your dinde looks delicieux, mon ami.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for too many things to list - which itself is a wonderful thing! Chief among them today -- a big "Thank you!" Eric -- for thinking of we Americans visitors on Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful that I subscribed to Paris Daily Photo and get an image of Paris every day. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAre my eyes deceiving me or is that Skippy the Bush kangaroo peeping out of the foil tray?
ReplyDeleteOr Basil Brush?
ReplyDeleteAll previous posts said it all for me :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm I think that does resemble Skippy.......
Hi Eric,
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! That turkey seems to have a couple of extra legs!!!
Happy Thanksgiving. Gail
