Flooded!

I was really lucky today: the weather was great, I was not not too jet lagged and the company was, once again very pleasant. We really had a great time for this 2013 PDP picnic, even though I had an unexpected surprise when I arrived on the premises at 1 pm: the designated are for the picnic was all flooded (you'll see in the video tomorrow). Fortunately, not far from the initial location, there was this little "headland" which allowed us to eat and drink while remaining dry! It was fun ;-). Thanks for all your good wishes everyone, speak to you tomorrow when I have spent a good night in a real bed!

  1. Ooh you all look wonderful! Rather precarious there on the edge, but on a hot sunny day, perhaps you were tempted to just dive in and make your space a wet space! Looking forward to the video :D

  8. Yes,the people were fun and the weather was perfect. Thanks again to Eric and Michael for hosting a successful picnic, and thanks to everyone for the great food and wine you brought.

Drummond and Mai: We started the festivities by toasting to you with the sparkling wine you provided. It was delicious.

    1. Yes Drummond and Mai, we toasted and drank the champagne right away (couldn't let it get warm you know!). Missed having you there!

    2. Quite right Michael, the only thing worse than warm champagne is no champagne at all. :-)

  16. Hey everyone,

Thank you for all your nice comments ;-) I'm sorry today's been crazy (you know how it is when you return from vacation...) so I did not have the time to edit the video. You're going to have to wait one more day...

  17. How wonderful to see this! One of my life dreams is to take part in the annual PDP picnic. Remarkably, we shared something in common this weekend: lots of rain here in Tennessee, too! I look forward to watching the video of your time together.
