Let's get married!

"Hurry honey, we don't want to be late, do we?" I can think of a zillion silly caption to go with this photo that I took yesterday around six on the the Pont Louis Philippe - a bridge that goes to the Ile Saint Louis. Of course this couple was not on their way to the church or the town hall, but in between two photo shoots with their photographer! But I thought it was a cute, funny scene.

  2. I see couples like this sometimes in Pasadena. We have a beautiful City Hall, and several other architectural gems, so people like to have their photo shoots. there.

Wasn't there once a tradition that the groom should not see the bride in her wedding dress before the wedding?

    1. There still is Petrea! I think these two were actually already married and just wanted their photo taken in Paris!

  3. Your "panning" is perfect...the couple is sharp (and not just photographically) while everything else is a bit blurry. I love it.

    1. I know Stuart. I have spam attacks at the moment and I don't know what to do. I have to erase every single one of them...

    2. Stuart: funny!

Eric, the only thing that worked for me was to set the blog not to allow anonymous comments. I wish I knew what to do about spam, it's a pain. I wonder if anyone actually clicks on those links?

    3. Yes, but I really don't like to make commenting even more difficult that what it is!! I suppose I will have to monitor my comment box more often during the day...

  5. Incroyable photo !

  6. What I love about this photo is how you made it look like they are in their own world—that probably wasn't
    so easy to do!
