A beautiful entrance

This time I'll give you more than just a door... Here is a full entrance to a stunning building that I found at 108 rue du Temple in Le Marais. The ceiling, and the door are real masterpieces. I did some research... And found it was built by architect François Lecœur in 1920. And apparently, it's not an apartment building, but a "semi" industrial building (God knows what this actually means!!). The door in particular is a work of art.

  3. Illusion d'optique ... (ou pas ... ?)

Typo in the last comment! Trying to type on the iPad in a moving car. (No, Louis is not driving...)
He was trying to type "fabulous!"

  6. Absolutely stunning! But if things work there the way they do here, that building will soon be turned into housing that only the über-rich can afford.

  7. Hey Louis, it's been a long time!
The door is cool, but the more I see the photo, the more I see how blurry it is... My fault!

  8. Eric, thanks for discovering this structure featuring a graphic grill entrance doorway. The striking angle is dramatic. It seems like nothing misses your eye as you ramble about Paris on your scooter.
Thanks again, I just love this shot!
