Like every year around the same period it was Fashion week in Paris this week. Some may find this industry a bit superficial, some may think fashion is as valuable an art as painting or singing, I personally quit wondering... And since it's one of our last successful industry, I tend to think that we're lucky Paris is still the Mecca of fashion for a lot of people ;-) Besides, it's a good occasion to visit some hidden parts of Paris, where exhibitions are being held, like this loft, in Le Marais, that I would never had seen if it weren't for fashion week!

Oooo. I love when you show us events "behind the scenes." Now I feel like I'm on the inside. I notice that after many years of colors that were muted, there are lots of brighter colors in the spring collections--ones I might possibly wear. So, Eric, from all your snooping...um, I mean observations, can you tell what THE hot color will be?
ReplyDeleteNot really... I'm really not a specialist - I just like to hangout and take photos ;-) PS: did you see my answer on FB?
Deleteoolalla,love it...who is the designer,you know??? Merci
ReplyDeleteYes! Holly Fulton.
DeletePersonally I am not very fashionable but I do admire fashion as an art form.
ReplyDelete& I admire your photo too Eric.
Awww that is sweet Lily ;-)
DeleteNothing wrong with beauty for beauty's sake, though I've quit wondering, too. I'm glad you got to go behind the scenes. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's very nice to see the backside of things from time to time, even if it kinda kills the magic!
