I'm not sure if I've already shown you this monument (it's one dedicated to Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz that was sculpted by Antoine Bourdelle and given to France by Poland after WWI). Regardless, the real reason why I chose to post this photo today is, of course, because of the light. In Paris, it's located along the Cours Albert 1er, along the river bank.

Walking towards freedom...

What an exquisite photo!
ReplyDeleteFascinating photo!
ReplyDeleteAmazing colors.
ReplyDeleteWow. Very interesting colors and mood. The museum of Antoine Bourdelle is in the Montparnasse neighborhood which is bit off the usual tourist route, but I would recommend it ...maybe not on your first trip to Paris (unless you have an interest in sculpture), but on your second or third.
I went walking.
DeletePas..., libérez ma pensée ...
Very dramatic!
