I spent a couple of days in Brittany (in Saint Malo to be more accurate) in the West of France, but now I'm back in the home of the Eiffel Tower! They installed sprinklers at its base (well actually they are located on the river banks, right where the bus sunk...) for the summer, which is not a bad idea (especially for photographers LOL!)
A bus sunk by the river?
ReplyDeleteIt does make for an interesting photo opportunity, Eric. So everyone below is sprinkled? How curious!
ReplyDeleteWell, cafes have them under the awnings, why not for the thousands around le Tour Eiffel?
ReplyDeletePerfect—it keeps you cool and provides a really cool (so to speak) photo op of the ET! ET!! ET!!! (For you, Suzy)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the tower tower tower needs to let off some steam.
ReplyDeleteET ready to take off !
ReplyDeletelaunching in 10, ... 9, ...8, ...

Dear ET, ET, ET !!!
So glad to see you again. Thanks for this water game! Hope the sea was as beautiful as ever in Saint Malo. Happy Britain break but don't forget Paris though! ;-)
I love too much your Parisian photos.
Oooh so blue! Love it :)
ReplyDeletevery, very cool - and it gives me the Blues.... wanted to go to Paris Plages today, but it was quite fresh and cloudy - so we went for a nice lunch to a Lebanese resto instead, then to a bar for lovely Italian espresso and home - where the clouds disappeared and the sun shone.... zut alors...
ReplyDeleteGREAT shot; took me a while to get the ET.... we'll try to catch it all next Sunday!
St Malo IS absolutely marvelous! Je t'envie.... - Kiki
ooooooooooooh, nice shot!! She could use a little mist, after all it is the middle of August!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of the Tower! It looks really cool! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, my dear PDP friends, for covering my ET ET ET duties whilst I was out of commission. I am back in front of a computer again and hope to keep up with my self-appointed task!
ReplyDeleteEric, fantastic shot. ET! ET!! ET!!!
My comment -that I thought I had left here- has disappeared. It is not that it was from a high importance but I'm sad not to see it now... Well I wrote that I found this picture fantastic taken from a surely not so easy angle and of course said bravo to Eric.
ReplyDeleteI also felt the urge to post something because coming back from a liitle Hammam time at the swimming pool (and asked you for please not to taking it as a provocation from me), I wanted to let you know that this had reminded me of this ET steaming shot ! But I did not see the ET where I was, which I missed a lot ;-) A very important comment as you see lol... Well or just a little coucou from me :)
What a great sky into which the Lady rises! And St. Malo--I'd love to see your photos from there as well. Many years ago, a friend and I strolled along the wall and enjoyed the views.
