Dîner en blanc 2013

Like every year around the 10th of June, Paris had its diner en blanc (white dinner Party). And like every year I went there to take a photo (several actually!). I posted this one because it allows you to see the amount of people that were there (obviously at the Louvre!) - even though this year the bad weather (it rained all day and it was pretty cold) probably discouraged a lot of guests. I get more and more message asking me "how to attend", but like I already explained, you have to know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone... and I don't have contacts anymore!

  7. Wow Eric, this is really a fantastic shot! Were you up on a ladder or use a crane? Seriously, this came out fantastic (as did the sun finally!).

  8. Great shot Eric. Too bad we didn't cross paths yesterday evening. I took some photos as well (probably more than I should have). They're accessible from the Paris-Sharing blog.

    1. Hey Carsten,

You have some stunning photos there - and you had the patience to stay long enough to get night shots, which I did not... Great event isn't it?

  10. It seems to me that if you go far enough up the "know somebody" chain there must be someone with a good deal of power, or you wouldn't be able to invite your "army" of people onto the grounds of places like the Louvre!

Sorry you had to ban anonymous comments, Eric, but I think it will help.
