Can you see the photos in the background of this shot? There are part of a really cool exhibit by Reza, a very famous Iranian/French photographer who went all over the world and took the picture of people who grow coffee around the world. The cool thing about this exhibit is that it takes place on the Quais des Tuileries, opposite to the Musée d'Orsay, where people can walk (well not in this kind of weather!). You can also enjoy it if you take a boat trip on the Seine, like on this Vedettes de Paris, that I grabbed in this scene!

I do love those open air exhibitions held along here
ReplyDeleteVery cool effect in your photo. That exhibition looks fascinating (from what I can see :-))
ReplyDeleteYes, in fact it's pretty hard to see from where I took the photo, I agree ;-))
DeleteI have been been known to have the occasional mini-picnic and a glass of something bubbly over there.
ReplyDeleteThe photos will seem quite large if you are actually standing on the quai. Hope no one is tempted to step back for a better view...........
BTW I read that the Eiffel Tower was closed yesterday due to a strike by staff. I hope the old girl enjoyed her rest day.
Pfff, I'm sure she did not even notice; it's not the first time its butlers went on strike!
DeleteWhat a great subject for a photo exhibition. Love it!
ReplyDeleteYeah, imagine!
DeleteLove how you can find art all over the place in Paris—like here. (But why is the name of the exhibit in English?)
