OK, it's a little cliché "Portrait of a young lady riding a bicycle in the middle of romantic Paris!" But after all, it's for real! I took this shot at the corner of rue du Mail and rue des Petits Pères (2nd arrondissment). And no, it's not the same lady of this photo... Well I don't think so, anyway!
It may seem cliche to you....but I love it! We don't get to see too many scenes like that in America!
ReplyDeleteJ'adore cette image, terriblement romantique.
ReplyDeleteI didn't consider this photo "cliche" at all. Love the black and white, which gave it even more of an old world feel to it.
ReplyDeleteNice photo Eric (as usual). Not cliché de tout!
ReplyDeleteAu peu cliché, mais j'adore cette type de la cliché ;)
ReplyDeleteHope it's readable ;)) My early steps in french...
Hmmm, Last year i made small trip to Paris and took there about 2000 pictures... Maybe i will show them too? What do U think ? ;))
Bonne soirée }:o)
CA me rend nostalgique :-(...mais c'est une super photo :-D.
ReplyDeleteC'est dit je reviendrai chez moi un petit peu tous les jours grace a toi. Merci.
..earlier as rooti ;)
ReplyDeleteTouched by Your Blog i've decided to make my own, first one and only - dedicated to Paris too ;) I have plenty of pictures taken last year, especially panoramic views. My pictures are very "technical" and... well: cliché ;)) but they might be interesting...
I have the honour of invite You to take a look on my pixie-frames.
I will upload 2-3 pictures per week.
(de nouveau) Bonne soirée }:o)
Cliche be damned! You should have got her phone number at the same time! There is always an air of mystery of a girl moving away. (cue tomorrow's "Other Stuff" post - too late for today)
ReplyDelete...on depasse les autos? (il fallait bien que quelqu'un la fasse)
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure what makes a cliche, a cliche. Maybe something becomes a cliche when everyone has seen it too much. Well, I haven't seen enough of those type of Paris photos and apparently, I'm not alone. So, not a cliche (in my book)! I really like this photo. More please!
Hello Eric, thanks for your Paris-photos. By the way: I think the lady is Dutch. The bike is a dutch-type-bike. The lady on the other photo has a much fancier model, greetings cees pelgrim.,les pays bas
ReplyDeleteHaha, young lady right? No no no, no what you called "cliché" at all, but the more the better instead!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Marcus.
It's beautiful. I love your blog so much, I nominated it for consideration for a Weblog Award!
