May this coming year look like this to you! Traditionally people gather on the Champs Elysées on new year's eve around midnight, they blow their horn, drink, sing, celebrate, etc. - but nobody jumps into a fountain like they do in London (Ham, from
LondonDailyPhoto will probably show us!). As far as ParisDailyPhoto is concerned I will try to do my best to show you more of the city I love in 2006...

ReplyDeleteOh, my heart skipped when I saw this! I was so lucky to visit Paris for the first time in early November and I fell in love with the Champs Elysees and this was my favorite view of the Arc! As for your profile Eric...I met sooo many friendly Parisians! Whoever made up that nasty little tidbit was obviously jealous of the fact that you live in such a beautiful city!
ReplyDeleteI know I am very late with this, but I wish you a very Happy New Year, Eric. Thanks so much for your beautiful photos of my favorite city. Hope you're enjoying your skiing vacation. Right now we're having a thunderstorm in Atlanta! Not being a native Atlantan, a thunderstorm on New Year's Day (night) seems so wrong. Happy New Year also to all who frequent this wonderful blogsite.
