A meeting with a view
Saturday, May 29, 2010 Publié par Eric Tenin
This morning I had a meeting in a communication agency in the center of Paris. It was the first time I visited them. A nice lady opened the door showed me into the main office and told me to wait in the meeting room upstairs... What she did not know is that I would take advantage of it to... takes photos! No matter where I looked, the scenery was absolutely stunning. So I took several photos, of course. I chose to publish this very Parisian one, where you have one the main landmarks of Paris together with the rooftops in the foreground.

Last time I went to a meeting, I did the same thing. But believe me, my photos looked nothing like this! Wow—how lucky we are that you are always ready with your camera. Stunning!

Paris is a beautiful city. The famous basilica Sacre Coer looks good standing on Montmartre.

Ok, I guessed it would be Notre Dame, but I wasn't too far off. The view from my meeting room is of a building across the street. How lucky you were...

Looking at their website Eric, I'm still not quite sure what they actually do. Funky set-up, but what's their expertise?

Fantastic! When I visited Paris I fell in love with this city and I lost my heart on Montmartre. This photo makes me nostalgic and a bit sad, because I miss Paris...
Thank you Eric for such a stunning photo!

Nice! The view of rooftops of Paris use to make me intensely homesick. Not so much anymore but its still a sight for sore eyes ;)

I clicked on their website and what I read on it, has really touched me. I love it. Passage. All declinations of this word and these several possible meanings or interpretations. Fascinated me. Even if it is not revolutionary, it is full of sense and makes me think over. Clever. J'adore.
I wonder what was the purpose of your meeting there, Eric (apart from meeting the nice lady at their entrance ;) )
What a beautiful photo centred on the monumental Sacred Heart Basilica.
@ Marleen : you wrote "I lost my heart on Montmartre" ; do you know that Montmartre also means the Mont of the Martyrs? I learnt that on PDP so how not to remember it? I do and I'm certainly not the only one. Only love is able to make one's heart beat like that, Marleen. I'm speaking by experience :)

A beautiful shot thank you Eric.
Sacre Coeur in the background, the blue sky - it looks like a stunning day in Paris at last!
Enjoy your Saturday!!!

I looked up the location in the 2e on GoogleMaps. I'm amazed that you could get a view like this from only approx. 7 stories up. Is that right? So glad Paris has, for the most part, kept high-rises out of the center city. Beautiful photo.

One must take the photographs whenever opportunity knocks. BTW, this view knocks my flip flops off Eric!!
I do love looking out and seeing the Sacre Coeur. And the rooftops of Paris with those chimney pots are...so...well........ SO PARIS! LOL

A city with a view. That's what Paris is.
Cause everywhere we look, from every angle, we see a breathtaking sight!

Hello to everyone from Istanbul. Wow, what a place. No ET (sorry Suzy) but as Eric knows, this place is quite fantastic. The mosques are even more amazing than Sacre Couer, and centuries older.
Will see some of you next weekend.
A bientot.

*Gasp* Such beauty out the window. And you know, they are probably so used to it, they don't even notice it anymore. Sad, but true. Thankfully, we have Eric to share such views for us to rave over!
