A night at Bollywood

I spent last evening at Bollywood! You know this part of Mumbai dedicated to Indian movies... OK, you're right I'm lying, I stayed in good old Paris. But I still got to spend 2 hours in front of La fabuleuse histoire de Bollywood show at Porte de Versailles, clapping my hands and yelling "Shava" like crazy. These Indian dancers must be on something illegal to have so much energy! Anyway, I had a real blast! Please forgive the poor photo quality that is all I managed to take (I was too scared of being caught!) and I just wanted to share a little bit of my Parisian night time!

  1. What you don't have the energy to dance like that anymore? LOL

Ah, yes, it is great to be young and full of life and energy. I remember those days.

Merci for sharing your night out!

  2. I turned the sound off on my camera precisely so I could take "sneaky" pix like this one. Thanks for sharing—I'll bet it was SO much fun. (I hope Rahul is still visiting your blog—he would be pleased that you were here, Eric.) BTW, I'm not sure I ever had that much energy. :~} Bon weekend.

  4. By the way, it is damn chilly here right now. It is 48F (4C) right now, raining, and windy. I went to a baseball game at our new ballpark and only sat outside for half of the game. In the fifth inning I went to the bar and watched through the (open) window. Actually, it was a great place to be. I did not, however, dance like Bollywood.

  5. Somehow Jeff, seeing you dance Bollywood would be a show unto itself! ;-) How about I give you Bollywood dance lessons at the PDP Picnic? I picked up a few moves on a few trips there...

Eric, did they sing Jai Ho? And why were you afraid to take photos? You're French! RULE = BREAK IT! LOL

  6. BTW Eric, I keep forgetting to tell you how much I like the "You might also like" photos under each daily post. It reminds me photos I liked before, but I also discover ones I must have missed!

  8. How did you keep yourself from jumping up on stage and joining them? I like to watch Bollywood movies and wish I still got the channel that showed them.

  9. Excellent Eric.
Don't know why i'm very happy you chose this Bollywood scene today. I love all ideas you have in matter of going out. That must be so :) Thank you very much and forgive me for all mistakes I always make, with my bad English, but it is only because I know you may tolerate it. A sweet kiss to the bright, for you are certainly arrived at the wedding now. Thank you again. Very much.

  20. So many Rahuls on PDP these days! Is that a fashionable first name in India or what?!

Rahul (from Antoine and Lili), we were refering to Rahul Chittella who has been a long time visitor to PDP (and still is obviously!) but I do remember you too.

So, if I ever go to India I already know two Rahuls to have a drink with!

@Rahul Chittella. OK, I just sent you an email.
