This animal escaped from the Gallery of comparative anatomy, near the natural history museum! As you all know(!) comparative anatomy is "the study of the differences and similarities allowing us to distinguish and classify species or larger groups (orders, families, etc)." Well if you want to see for yourself, pay a visit to the Jardin des plantes , which is where the museum is located. In the meantime, you can also visit the website, which is not only very nice but also entirely in English). BTW, did you notice the Mc Donald's sign in the back?!

Stop staring at me!

Love it! Happy weekend everyone
ReplyDeleteI really had to search for the McDonald's sign. You hid it well behind the iron fence. That escapee is a pretty good size judging by the people on the sidewalk.
ReplyDeleteThose guys really got around. How did they get from Paris all the way to Los Angeles? Did they swim or something?
ReplyDeleteOkay, now if you're going to photoshop something, go ahead and get rid of the McDonald's sign! (hee hee)
ReplyDelete«Louis» never expected to see a photo of his former father-in-law inPARIS!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun thing to run into in the middle of a busy city!
ReplyDeleteI love the light in this photo & the subject matter too.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is great!
I didn't see the Mickey D's until you mentioned it Eric. I guess I found myself looking for the golden arches, but my eyes kept going back to those twistable tusks of the aged pachyderm. I hope the authorities were able to contain the beast before he meandered over to the drive-thru window. What? No drive thru windows in Parisian McDs? Well, but I bet you can get a nice red vino with your Big Mac. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like it. I find it fascinating how many interesting creatures were created by God and how marvelously they were designed.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job hiding McD's, Eric, I really had to look for it!
Love this! But don't get me started about McD in Paris—probably the main reason why Parisians are now having problems with their weight. Hey, maybe that's why this guy is so huge!
ReplyDeleteIn order for you to determine the authenticity of your hermes , you should always buy from well-known retailers or dealers. While you can buy designer Kelly bag in boutiques, you can always find great bargains if you are patient enough. There are some local dealers that sell berkin bag for less.
